Devs said already in December that they would like to change the name at some point. The lead dev has applied for some legal patents/trademarks for Nano. It is not confirmed officially though to be happening. They might have multiple options ready and are still choosing.
In short: rebrand coming at some point, not know when, and not 100% sure to be Nano, but likely though.
