Novice question -- how do I do that? Code is open source on github at the bottom, presale contract is super simple and easy to audit. And this is definitely not a scam. Why would I bother when we've already put in 300+ hours developing this fucking app hahah.

1. Battle other robots - you'll randomly be rewarded parts if you win. You can also level up existing parts. Parts retain their level upon selling.

2. Sell your parts (or entire robots) on a marketplace.

If you have any ideas for further functionality I'd love to here them : )I was thinking maybe you could combine multiple items into rarer ones?

Slow down your purchasing. Randomness is very difficult to generate on the blockchain - which means we use the hash of the blockchain on which the transaction is mined. If you purchase 3 in a row, you have a small chance of them being mined on the same block and having the same randomness. We'll look into a fix for this, however.

Because the randomness is only seeded by blocknumber. All your transactions that end up in the same block will have the same loot

Makes it easier to game the system by predicting which block will get rare parts

You have to wait for your transaction to be confirmed. A buy button for your crates will then appear - or you can simply open your crates up the top right (it says my robots). We should make that more obvious, I'll push up a change now.

It's not actually easier to game the system. When you have access to the hash/your parts, that block has already been mined, and it is impossible to purchase more crates on that block.

The only possible exploit is for a miner to "throw away" a block - however, this means the expected value of them throwing away that block to have just 1 more randomised chance has to be worth more than 5 ETH. It's a viable attack vector in gambling games which rely on block timestamps/hashes, but certainly not here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I could be.

You're looking at the hash of the previous block. Your source code states which parts of the end result determine rarity. So technically when a new block is found, you can precalculate the result of your random function, and if it's good enough, you can place an order with a high enough gas price to be included in the next block.

Obviously this needs to be automated because you have less than 15 seconds, but it is possible

the price doesn't go up linearly, because we didn't want people to be locked out of buying what we want to be a really fun/rewarding game.

It halves at 0.1 ETH, 0.2 ETH and 0.3 ETH, so it can't really get much more expensive than that.

Quick maths: worst case probabilistic scenario is if all presale crates sell (which is the only time they're available), which is 3900 * (1/15) (lambo chance) * (1/20) (gold chance for presale), so 13 gold lambos at max (probabilstically obv)

Any part you get can be combined with any other part at any point in time. You can mix and match two crates and sell parts you don't like.

I actually read the whole privacy policy and terms and conditions.
