> Some bs excuse about DB replication (really? that's the best you can do)
> In a few hours people will get restless
> In several hours there will still be no news
> Tomorrow, they will say that they 'discovered' something during the maintenance and are working 'as fast as possible'
> About 4-8 hours after that they'll admit there was a breach which caused the DB sync issue as hot wallets were accessed and drained.

This is how these things usually go down:

>Site is suddenly down. Owners says they're doing maintenance, and has had unforeseen problems
>Claims unplanned, unannounced maintenance is taking longer than expected
>What goes on behind the scenes is that the owners are talking to lawyers, being adviced to not say anything about the security breach until they've secured evidence.
>Twitter account goes mostly silent. Updates every 3-6 hours, still claiming that it's just maintenance and that or some reason it's taking longer than they estimated earlier (before they talked to their lawyers).
>Statement about the breach is posted on twitter, reddit and on the web site. They are sorry and all your coins are gone.

If green ID, Binance is doing some damage limitation to cover a small number of coins lost in a hack but they’ll close the back door and almost everyone here will be ok. Any other colour and the phrase “I got Binanced” will enter the lexicon to mean “I lost everything to chinks”.
