People love to parrot what they think is "smart". If you have any idea what the industry is doing right now, you'd scramble to put at least a bit of your portfolio into IOTA. I'm in it since last summer and was surprised to see the venture arm of the company that I work at actively seek out IOTA on further cooperations. That just made me feel more comfy. 80% in this right now.

I dont know who that guy even is. I recognize the tophat meme photo of him. He gets very dark in the second half of the interview. I think he is on drugs and maybe was on the withdraw by the end. I dont think he the type of person I would want to spend time around, but sees to me once you attain a certain amount of wealth you become a little hardened dealing in the real world which is a complete mafia. IoT is based on Smart Contracts.
Any other use case of DAG technology can be copied and replicated by large firms. Nobody needs IOTA for that.

Seems like you have no grasp on IOTA project. They are working and will eventually develop smart contracts albeit a bit differently than on ethereum. So go study a bit or just stop fudding
IOTA only can do very very few types of smart contracts, because they can only determine timestamps and transaction histories within certain confidence intervalls.
Therefore I repeat: They cannot do IoT.

If you check fud against exuberance, and exuberance against fud(instead of taking on faith what others say), you will have done your own research. Personally speaking, looking at the real world infrastructure being set in place with Iota makes it easy to see which way the wind is blowing. I'm 75 percent in and unworried. Waiting for the Bosch Connected World conference at the end of the month. Iota will be on the main stage.
