We're not complete brainlets for keeping the XRB in the exchange, withdrawals were only enabled very occasionally during January, and then they added the "verification" process which took weeks or never happened.

Nah. You would be able to withdraw little by little fine. I had over 50k in bitgrail. Been withdrawing since December then withdraw stop. But then there as account termination. I got all my btc out through it. You were too lazy to withdraw or do account termination because you don't want to sell the coin.
