All mental "illnesses" are simply alternative modes of the expression of human consciousness, and just like how sickle cell anemia protects against malaria and increases survival, mental illnesses are adaptive evolutionary traits. Schizo people are, in nature societies, actually the shamans and mystics of their communities, and insight into the spirit world is incredibly important for the creation of meaning in life for all the community members. Also in nonwestern, nonindustrialized communities, the voices that schizos hear are angelic rather than negative and demonic, look it up.

The only reason it's a problem for people now is that we've created a fucking assbackwards society that assigns zero value to human lives that can't do the kinds of work that are dictated by our feudal overlords in order to make them richer.

Nothing that can be done about that for the time being, but start learning how to view yourself with the dignity that's been denied to you. You can't let them win.

I have diagnosed schizophrenia. Can't even talk with people. Don't know what to do. Don't remember what I live for. Feeling being diffrent is the worst. I'm thinking about letting myself go to hospital and never come back, take drugs, kill myself or start taking meds.

Sometimes I think everyone has it and I'm just too stupid to cure/live with it.
