Why would you sell at a loss? It's overwhelmingly better to just hold and wait.

Let me tell you a simple technique of how to day trade, sell in chunk, around 25% of your total, if it goes up you gain on your remaining 75%, if it drops you get to buy low from the 25%, this way it is impossible to lose a cent and you always gain bear or bull.

It's not impossible to do that but ultimately the odds are not in your favour, there's also some confirmation bias as people who tried to daytrade and got rekt aren't as likely to post about it. And don't forget that trading is a zero-sum game (negative-sum if you factor in exchange fees) so be safe and be smart.

Put a moving average on your chart. A SMA of 10 will help you realize when it is generally low and to buy and when sell.

If you are bad don't buy the dip before you see it start to turn up. Don't sell until you see it turn down.

If you use a longer Sma you will be able to make less trades with less stress. But we are at the point where we will see 5 days of gains then 18-24 hours of loses. Don't trip, the trend is up till late march
