The next AMA on Reddit has just been confirmed to be scheduled for February, 21st.
It has been announced on the offical Golem chat by the administrator ( chat.golem.network --> general room).
If you want to accumulate, the right time is now.
Brass (the first MVP for the system) is due to be released 'early 2018' so the AMA can actually be the occasion for the announcement.
Jayden Evans
Why buy golem when you can buy rlc ?
Brody Wood
Any Golem holder around here ?
Nathaniel Edwards
Because the first Golem MVP is close to be released and there is an AMA already scheduled. Last time they made an AMA the token has soared 30%. A parnership with Adobe was evoked (as a future possibility) by the CEO.
Sebastian Carter
Are you sure that you can compare iExec with Golem ? iExec is nowhere near as decentralized and distributed as Golem. If I understand well the computing power of iExec is simply shared on their nodes while every single computer on earth can potentially host a Golem application.
Dylan Walker
On paper, and in practice Golem is orders of magnitude more powerful than iExec.
Gavin Ross
Yes but in real life iexec deliver on time and has a better team full of phd
Anthony Cruz
Holding since last April.
Jayden Gray
Brass was 'due to be released' almost a year ago. This team is a fucking joke.
Hudson Wood
Golem has spent zero on marketing in the last year and focused entirely on devolopement.
For that matter the CEO and CTO were grilled on purely techincal issues even recently, at the last London Ethereum Meetup .
This project is very real. The team is formed by people close to Vitalik. I believe he gave a substantial endorsement at the ICO time.
Joseph Campbell
Golem has already lost. I lol'ed so hard when golem team tried to explain that their use of "supercomputer" term is correct. 3d rendering market is small, dapp market will be huge in 2018-2019. RLC will definetly win
Owen Lopez
endorsment by a pony loving communist faggot. ixec is blockchain agnostic, while golem is stuck sucking vitaliks dick. > grilled on purely technical issues lol, where is nothing left to do than to grill on technical issues when they are fuckign late 12 months
Adrian Wood
there*
Henry Thomas
Not exactly. Golem was announced due to be released by May 2017, that is true. The team then met security issues on the technology and decided to postpone Brass without giving other timeframes. This is the first time since May that we have a guess about the release date.
All the R&D has been made (that was stated by the CEO last fall); their work now is purely quantitative, not qualitative. They have (or had ?) to write part of the code but the technology is already there.

Lucas Miller
yeah here, bought like ten months ago (feels like two years) when it was shilled on here. has been losing satoshi value ever since basically. 6000 GNT here, its about 2% of my portfolio so of course i dont give much of a fuck. bought this at the same time as XEM, XLM, ETH and XRP.
Cooper Harris
are you me?
Justin Rodriguez
yeah, because you are samefagging
Parker Green
Personally I hold more than 200k Golem and I am anyway 700% on my initial investment even at these current ridiculous levels. I expect another easy 3x as soon as a release date for Brass is announced. Hopefully the occation will be the next AMA.
Josiah Hughes
you went in early then, well done
Ryder Stewart
RLC has a different and much more trivial product. It is far better to do 3D rendering on AWS than on a platform so poorly distributed like iExec.
Which part of the sentence 'Golem can be installed on every computer on the planet' is not clear ? That is the all point for the existence of the Golem project.
Christian Diaz
lol so can be everything else on every pc on this earth. have you red that ixec gets blender as dapp?
Dominic Adams
Daily reminder that shitcoins like Sia and Golem have no real world viability. No one in their respective industries wants/needs them.
Jayden Hernandez
So what ? Distributing computation power on your own nodes is not that difficult after all; the problem is that with this model the growth is limited.
Once launched Golem could have millions of times the computation power of iExec.
Distribution is everything.
If you want to limit distribution like RLC does, it is far more simple to buy computation on AWS.
Luis Torres
being this stupid to think that you can parallelise tasks infinitely
Blake Fisher
Nobody thinks that. The difficult of the Golem project is calibrating the distribution in order to keep it efficient (and profitable). They have said that since the beginning.
Carson Reed
Oh, by the way, the official AMA announcement will be made only on Wednesday.
The chat announcement has been seen by just a handful of people. An ideal time to get on board, if you are interested in this project.
