Roots Reggae: user recommends Ijahman Levi
who else /ignant rap/ here? just a shameless love for shit that doinks in the whip?
I'll give you amon Tobin and porter for worlds. Everything else is elevator, h&m, coachella memeshit. Take your eardrums to Vessels and Recondite since you like the electronic shit. Look into rock composers from the past to build your production value and don't get caught up in festival flower crown shit
Shit that sounds good when you're high af.

the second one i discovered when i was just a kid when i watched master and commander. the captain of the ship and the scientist who worked as a passenger and pretty much a friend to the captain had a violin and cello respectively. they played tunes in the evening and the writer/director used it as an opportunity to plug some nifty works. they plugged a section from a little while into the third movement of Mozart violin concerto 3.
God tier music.

nigger racket gets me fucking hype
I listen to way more than that puny list but it’s all good- will check out all the recommendations sir
Everyone does user. You'll have to expand the mind into other sonic realms. My meme list differs from yours but the gems are lost at times with billboard top100 algorithms. The ear is easily manipulated foe guilty pleasure.
Fuck the pop country rock shit biz listens to. Most people on this board are depressed, I don’t like their depressing ass music. Nobody is playing fucking Linkin Park at a party or club.
I like Trap music. That ignorant shit goes great with a blunt , some fruit, and some day trading.
pic looks fun as fuck
For sure man- I love expanding my sonic horizons as long as it’s not country haha. Any other personal gems you wanna share? Obv I love electronic, but I started off heavy in classic rock.

Yung Cash Register aka Lil Broomstick
I haven't listened to alot of Pond. I was actually looking for suggestions too, lol. I know alot of anons talk about Pond, MGMT, and King Gizzard in /mu/ whenever there is a psychedelic rock thread, but I haven't found a catchy song I like.
So did i. I reverted back to U.F.O and that schenker lead.

Listen to that sub bass
I don't understand a lick of what they're saying but man do I feel like I'm in Iceland with them during this.
well I've listened Pond's The Weather and really like all of em... Psychedelic Mango is dope too.. like I said I'm still new to them. There isn't enough time to listen to all the music I want..at least until Veeky Forums makes me financially independently finance finally. Will have to check out King Gizzard

Damn homie, did you discover music in 92?
I grew up on classic rock and the more softer metal my whole life (you know, the shit they play on the radio) that's what my parents are into. I know pretty much every famous rock song/band.
Once I got around 14, I started listening to heavier metal and death metal, though I still liked classic rock etc.
Since around 16 or 17, I started listening to rap (drill, trap, chief keef shit)
I listen to mostly rap nowadays but I still throw on the occasional metal/rock for a change of pace/nostalgia.
On another note I've seen 40+ bands live and not one single rapper.

I love hip hop but it never translated well on stage.
