You will be a Millionaire with X LINK: Day 2
this thread is good, I like it
lets have a daily thread like this pls thanks
I need Link to be 5k
will my rare forks ever be worth anything?
cant wait for day 2186
>1,000,000

cap this
What were the results of the LINK gitter search and inquiry last night?
>7733164
They are working with every major tech and insurance company basically which means this is easily going to 300 eoy
so what happens when ethereum works on and releases their own oracle layer for their second layer networks?
oh shit this guy thought of this and no one else has, quick lets sell now.
imagine posting a screen of this in 168 years
For Slack members:
And here for Gitter members, several posts throughout the thread:
so what happens when ethereum works on and releases their own *insert any use case for crypto here*
the point is, link is a bet against ethereum, or there even being one dominant smart contract platform, because if there is, it will clearly have to have its own oracle network.
You honestly have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, but that's all I'm going to help you with.
Link is cross-blockchains so who cares if ethereum has their own. First mover advantage as well.
most of those ideas arent as crucial to smart contracts as oracles though, and ethereum generally is. it already has a rudimentary file storage layer in development, lightning network clone (not raiden), and all of whatever can be built on the EVM itself.
if someone was trying to sell you a token for access to a second layer network i would be just as skeptical. there are some things that are too important to relegate to a completely unconnected network.
ok you niggers, i still unironically believe in the 5k btc again soon, im going to bulk up on stinky linkies when it dips abit more again since too broke and only have 1k linkies atm. how many links do you niggers possess? will you guys be gods in cryptos? i wonder how many people that bought eth for nothing still holds from their initial purchase to this day...
Congrats on being the dumbest person I've encountered so far today.
>say buzzwords
>appear smart
>actually retarded
congrats on this seriously
i absolutely know what i'm talking about. it's the same fallacy people believe when buying "cross blockchain" blockchain tokens like ark.
first mover providing they can get something released that is. but if oracles are as important as the shills say they are, a cheaper and native version will undoubtedly be preferred on the ethereum network.
really, no arguments? did i just burst your bubble? sorry.
Has anyone referenced those people or gone through slack and tried to find more?
Some big names, we need to keep digging.
Why was the reddit thread deleted? Is it because it contained actual useful information about the future of Chainlink?
oh no links kryptonite what ever shall we doooooo
how can you argue with something that is incorrect
>i absolutely know what i'm talking about
you very clearly don't. dunning kruger is a bitch ain't it?
>a cheaper and native version will undoubtedly be preferred on the ethereum network
And when an Ethereum dApp needs to talk to a NEO dApp...
you really don't get it. what you're suggesting would be like if AOL came up with its own version of HTTP and expected browsers to implement their proprietary version of it instead of HTTP. LINK acts as a standard protocol. Standards drive tech forward. Proprietary solutions that only work on one chain will not become the core oracle services.
Which thread?
Yes. We can't have the shit getting to plebbit. They'll get their crumbs from the pie during the singularity.
imagine being THIS FUCKING DELUSIONAL
im not one for empathy but i really do feel sorry for u
>Ethereum dApp needs to talk to a NEO dApp
like i said, it's a bet against ethereum being a superdominant platform. you're betting on there being enough huge platforms for something like this to be needed.
>standard protocol
there's no standard, what chainlink is doing is simply one attempt at oracles, they aren't any more special than anybody elses.
and you cant think there's anything more "standard" about chainlink than there would be ethereum's oracle platform? because that makes entirely no sense.
>2186
That's days not the date. It's a little shy of 6 years. Would still be interesting to see.
Ya 300 EOY is just retarded. I expect we'll see $20 EOY. $50 could be possible but seems like a massive stretch unless we get some major partnership announcement (Facebook remains my wishful thinking partner because their Director of Engineering is an advisor and Zuck talked about looking more into crypto). $300 will take 3 years minimum.
ask the mods
kek no, it will be minimum 100
When did this meme start quick rundown plox
Is anyone else going to be fudding the FUCK out of this bitch on monday? lol I'm collecting pasta RN
it spawned from the Shadow Fork and Jason Parser memes and really exploded yesterday
>like i said, it's a bet against ethereum being a superdominant platform. you're betting on there being enough huge platforms for something like this to be needed.
And any developer like myself will tell you that's the only reasonable bet to make. If you don't understand tech, you shouldn't be in this market.
>there's no standard, what chainlink is doing is simply one attempt at oracles, they aren't any more special than anybody elses.
they actually are. any other oracle services only work for a specific chain, are centralized, require trust in data sources, or a combination of the above. you clearly haven't read the whitepaper and don't understand the landscape, so your arguments are pointless bullshit.
> than there would be ethereum's oracle platform?
what platform you dumb faggot? you're making up imaginary systems for Ethereum that they've made no indication they're working on. even the new subsystems they have said they're working on have taken well over a year and still aren't released. the fuck you think is going to happen? Money Skelly wakes up one day and cranks out an Oracle service and launches it within the next 6 months?
Once again you've proved yourself as dumb as we all expected.
deleted because Linksherlock did not want reddit to ruin it.
...
Thx, appreciate it. Gonna be saving these now.
Thread is here, I can still access it reddit.com
To be honest I think it's pretty dumb we don't have a more "Reddit friendly" reddit page, it just looks unprofessional with all the Veeky Forums bullshit on there.
If I had a Reddit account I would make a professional sounding thread about this infodump immediately.
We don't need to "accumulate" anymore. We want LINK to moon.
>trips
just bought 100k thanks
All there is to see is that all the people listed are members of Slack or Gitter. Some of them have Github pages with Chainlink node code stuff starred, which would indicate they're actively involved in coding for ChainLink, or making external adapters.
I don't know what more we could possibly find out about it?
It is decided then
I guess what I am saying is linksherlock provided raw data. We need to take that data and do something with it. Even if it is just putting it all together into a clear and organized manner. There are many dots that need to be connected or further investigated.
like this user said. Even taking those names from the linksherlock post and putting some of the info on reddit would have been better than just dumping the Veeky Forums link.
...
Well maybe someone can make a Reddit account and put the info on the subreddit?
Just found this place and I'm amazed at how much support for Sergey Nazarov you guys are showing. Let me tell you guys a story. I think you'll appreciate it.
You may not know this, but Sergey is actually a pretty decent golfer. I remember last year attending an event at the American Cup. I was part of his crew at the range and let me tell you, we were in Awe when he whacked a ball 572 yards. It was incredible.
What's even crazier is what happened next. Tiger actually walked up with a bucket of balls, apparently getting ready for his comeback at the Masters. Sergey looked at Tiger and said "Man that's all you ever do is practice. Practice, practice, practice." Tiger looked at him and said "Well if I had your talent Nazarov I wouldn't have to practice so much."
Crazy.
Stars don't necessarily mean they're actively working on something. I have 500+ things starred on Github and tend to use it more as a bookmark for projects that sound like something I MIGHT want to work with at some point.
That said, if they're active on Gitter and have it starred there's definitely a better chance that they're playing with the code. Keep an eye on stars for the new code release. 19000 devs, myself included, have signed up and are waiting for information. I'm curious to see what the stars/activity on that project will look like, because I know I haven't bothered starring the current one myself but will be when the RC is flipped public.
lol this is strange pasta. Is this old?
I mean
some other anons pointed out that a lot of this info is basically publicly available, and it's actually just being reiterated. So it will come to surface one way or another.
Day 8588
>What is $?
>Need 0.0023 LINK to have food and oxygen.
>Read old forgotten tale about a price singularity and the related plurges to no link holders.
>ETH will never reach $1000 you retard if we're super lucky it'll get to $100 in 3 years
Chainlink has massive dev support like ethereum did backnin the day
Does it?
>ETH will NEVER see anything like $1000. MAYBE $10.
>they fell for the LINK scam
i might buy in if it starts to go up and sell out quick for a quick profit. thanks goyim
I dont think its delusion, its blatent shilling.
I’ll be dead but put me in the screenshot with 30k link

I'm ready. Sooner I get to quit my code monkey job the better. Let it mooooon

What happens when bitcoin implements it's own smart contract protocol? Utter shitcoin
19000 devs
yea I suspect a little of the past few days was inorganic shilling for nefarious purposes or less likely newfags who think they're being autistic and other newfags eating it up because they think they're in a secret club.
Even the fucking test smartcontracts and user profiles were being treated like they were new information even though they've literally been around for years. If you weren't retarded you had already googled the members of slack and gitter and there had already been threads about many of them. It's all good but there was quite literally nothing new over the past few days.
>btc 2008
>what happens if someone creates a better coin than btc? Utter shitcoin

how long until Chainlink-Kitties?
breed, collect and battle? + (ofc) a ponzi?
>f you weren't retarded you had already googled the members of slack and gitter and there had already been threads about many of them.
Not true at all. This has never been discussed here before. There have been no threads about any of them except the Tesla dude. I'm on biz 24/7. Prove me wrong.
Same. I browse biz 14 hours a day and I've never seen it before. This guy is just a newfag trying to look cool and hoping nobody notices his newfaggotry.
