In a similar boat OP. Got over £20k in various bank accounts as a "safety net". Starting to think it doesn't need to be that big. No debt and working full time anyway.

well, my life savings aren't in the bank they're in bonds but I'd gladly risk my stupid savings account on crypto that shit only earns like 0.1%

If you only put into safe coins like BTC and Ripple, you can probably just go all in. At worst your savings will get halved and then appreciate towards 10x. Even if it did get halved, so what, it's fucking nothing and you're just letting it sit there anyway.
