Chainlink is not a blockchain, but its blockchain agnostic.

Whatever blockchain comes out as the "winner", chainlink can attach itself to it.

And pretty much everyone is building their own proprietary blockchain, so it's very possible the future of crypto won't belong to a single blockchain, but rather a whole universe of them.
Either way is great for middleware like Chainlink.
