I haven't analyzed other oracle networks but the fundamental problem with link is that there's no way to contest invalid data.
For SSL api the only thing you need is to trust a proxy that doesn't even know what data you're requesting (only the domain). This severely limits even the possibility of an intentional attack.
I can't imagine anyone competent using link for anything. Or any network with similar incentives.
In link you can be a honest node and always publish correct data, yet if a majority of other nodes are colluding and intentionally providing false data you're going to be punished. Absurd.
