I sold my bags at 6% loss some days ago, fuck it, already made more on some other shit. It really is a shitty coin

I've tried to understand what the fuck this coin does at least 5 times and I still don't know. I guess that's a sign of a shitcoin?

no it's a sign of you being a brainlet

me. bought a few K

I haven't because I'm unironically 100% in link, but req is a solid project. I look forward to see how they change the landscape.

heh I bet you couldn't summarize this coin in 1-2 sentences

blokt.com/icos/request-network-review
if anyone is interest in REQ this sums it up well

was thinking about picking up some bags but not quite sold on the project

2.5k REQ. It's not a lot but it's my all in.
REQ is my moon coin

I have 40k so far. Bullish about the future.

This reassures me.
REQ seems great but the price staying stagnate/dropping is really getting to me.

Coinbase fucked REQ over. It's over for REQ.

Coinbase isn't going to be the thing that kills REQ.

This is the time to buy more. Dont listen to the fud.

req is fucking dead

get out now it might aswell rename itself to titanic

do you retards not look at charts for once or what

Just bought another 1300. I will take all the cheap bags I can buy. Have faith and you will be rewarded.

Rebbitors fudding this coin. Makes you think.

Sure is some reddit spacing.

>buy high, sell low

Yes brother.

Im curious about putting a few k into either req or jnt but cant make up my mind

Why not both?

I have too much diversity as it is

REQ is an easy x2 when main net launches (possibly more) and is very capable of be $3 or $4 EOY

why would you do this OP? at times like these you shut the fuck up and accumulate.

>x2 when main net launches

I have lurked here for many years but rarely post anything. This board has produced a lot of great meme's and threads that have gave me a good laugh even though it has kinda went to shit recently with no real good OC. It's time to give something back.

No date? Just march right?

The REQ team is aiming to have an AMA March 2nd.

Chill my man. Seriously. There is a lot of competition between REQ and LINK but in reality both could compliment each other very well. There are a few things I like about REQ more just now. The main one is that when fucking idiot normans wake the fuck up I think they will he able to understand REQ and its use case better than they will with LINK. That doesn't make LINK a bad project and I will probably buy some in the future but just now I am buying REQ.

Trips of truth. What more can I say?

I unironically tripled my stack to 3k yesterday.

Fucking checked.

Coinbase cucked REQ super hard. Going to wait on sidelines while things develop. Not worth gambling with REQ right now.

fud

What competition? You mean price-wise? Perhaps, I hold both, though I mistakenly went too heavy on REQ. But man, $0.60 by mainnet is bearish as hell.
Don't tell me you unironically fell for the coinbase meme FUD? Are you braindead?

>blokt.com/icos/request-network-review

heh so I was right, you couldn't do it

I hate her hair so much

It's just fucking bad

This faggot comes to FUD every single REQ thread, kek. Makes you go hmm..

The weakest fud. There is no effort in this at all. If people cannot see through posts like this and realise what they are, they deserve to stay poor.

first req thread I'm in and I'm asking for 1-2 sentence cliffnotes of this coin and the guy posts a fucking 100 page blog shit

just proves my point so go suck a dick fag

Sure thing, ranjit. Your obnoxious red*it spacing makes you stand out. Shut the fuck up or I'll come to fuck your currynigger sister.

Competition on price and people supporting either project so in turn they go and spread some fud.

$0.60 is an extremely conservative estimate, I know. I always think as conservatively as possible.. then you dont build yourself up for a fall.

I can't believe you faggots are still holding this shit, it's just another ERC20 payment coin that's already been made absolutely useless by Coinbase.

It's one of her many features that I adore the most.

i'm so scared Veeky Forums tough guy faggot
why don't you stick your req in your reqtum and stfu

nahd sold my bags fuck this shitcoin

You can send or request payments in any currency, for a fee. The REQ tokens will be used for the fee.

Why so mad, ranjit? You can take sloppy seconds after I'm done.

ok thanks that was better than their white paper

That's already too much of a hassle for 99.99% of normies out there. Nobody will use something that requires you to buy tokens“to send payments.

All whitepapers should have a tl;dr at the top of the page ELI5.

You dont buy the tokens. If a business wants to allow you to pay via Request they will be the ones that hold the coins and the coins will be burned to facilitate the fee. No consumer will need to buy REQ to pay with Request.

You don't buy anything you moron. You pay the fee in whatever currency you pay with. It gets converted to REQ automatically. Fucking brainlets itt. Read the whitepapers, dumb niggers.

99% all in.
Thinking about dumping the rest of my Payfair for a few more REQ tokens.
Everytime the price drops a bit more I get a huge urge to buy more REQs

Or you could avoid all that hassle for 1.5% by using Coinbase or Bitpay, both already have a working product.

Okay, who cares. Will not be used regardless.

As if you've read it brainlet

>hey user lets use something that'll cost us more in the long run
>GREAT IDEA
businesses like to save even 0.01%

I've never used bitpay so I'm definitely naive when it comes to that. But the goal of Request is that not only can it be used as a one time payment system for crypto - its going to allow for recurring payments and really any consumer transaction. If you have a monthly bill Request can allow you to schedule monthly payments with crypto, the applications are much broader. Competition is inevitable in this space, but I think theyre aiming to solve slightly different problems.

If Bitcoin hits 6k again, what's the expected price for REQ? I'm awaitning for this to increase my stack to 50k

It explains it so simply man. If you don't want to read the paragraph here it is.

The core idea is simple. The payee makes a Payment Request via Request Network. The payer, upon accepting the request, pays the payee through Request Network. Both the payment request and the payment are registered as a single ledger entry on the blockchain, ensuring a clear and immutable record. And because payment information is never shared, the risk of a malicious party intercepting banking information is negated.

You can buy whatever you want using the Req platform. Would be the most dumb down single sentence answer.

They do it for convenience. Because it's easier to just open a Shopify store than building it from scratch. Same thing here. It's all a matter of time. Because free time is more valuable than 1.5%.

profit > conveinence
if the company is gonna save they're gonna do the cheaper option

umm nope. it's not so black and white.

Not in the real world, no. Competition is fierce. First one who ships a product wins. Being the first one in any niche is the winning strategy. That's the only barrier. Not fees. You can custom build it later on with agile development when you have the funds from sales. By the time you come into the market with your product, I already have brand recognition. That's how you start-up.

so why would amazon want to use request, and what would it look like if they did?
i get to their payment screen.... then what

There would be a "Pay with Request" button or something, then you fill in the payment details and go. Would be like paying with paypal/stripe.

then why aren't we still using Myspace? Why isn't RCA still in business? Why isn't Atari still a juggernaut of gaming?

does it convert crypto to fiat though?
it's using kyber is that what kyber does.
i feel like businesses don't want the volatility of crypto.

Yes, it does. It's planned for Q2. Look at the roadmap man.

Crypto/Fiat conversions are part of the roadmap, and yep Kyber is a project aiming to make converting between cryptos easier.

If you're interested in the Tax/Legal logistics which would be a reasonable next step you can also check out the yellowpaper on their website.

Why should I?

For the people that don't know what the coinbase thing is

Coinbase:
>Pay with either ETH,BTC,BCH,LTC on websites
>Merchant receives whatever you paid with (if you paid with LTC the merchant receives LTC)
>That's it just a simple payment portal for those 4 coins
>charges between 3-5% Fees

Request Network:
>Pay with all fiat and cryptocurrencies
>You can pay with BTC but the merchant will receive USD or whatever the fuck he chooses he wants (Thus the merchants don't have to actually hold any cryptocurrency for them to still support it)
>Does all the accounting, invoicing, auditing for the business saving them tons of money
>Fees between 0.05-0.5%

This is like saying Disney World will close down now that the Traveling Carnival is in town.

>i feel like businesses don't want the volatility of crypto.

exactly. this is why REQ payments will be bound to fiat, a dollar is a dollar, no matter what. If you change ware to get your money back, you will get the amount in fiat, not the amount crypto you paid.
this is something businesses will adopt.

i'm thinking its time to get back in. i sold this at 10 cents :(
now i just dont know what to sell off though...

...

just look at the jew symbol right. it is a secret hint

REQ TO BE ADDED TO KOINEX
