There was a thread a few days ago where people were talking about the type of tupperware they use for lunch at work, or something along those lines. Monbento was something a user suggested and posted some pictures they had of it. Looked bretty good so I ordered one. Was asked to post pictures when it arrived, and it came in today. Just going to post some pictures, and maybe we can get a tupperware general going.
Ordered the bento itself, the silverware, the chopsticks and a small sauce cup.
The sauce cup is just that. Little screw on top so no spillage. This was the small version; it will work alright, but I think I would have preferred the medium version more.
Nathan Bailey
Silverware set will only fit inside the top of the bento with the clear top of the case removed, which is fine, don't really need it unless you're going to keep it separate.
Luis Diaz
The spoon looks completely useless. The fork and knife will work just fine for me.
Jacob Morris
Was hesitant on ordering the chopsticks. They're plastic and pretty cheap looking. I'll probably opt for a better travel sized telescopic pair later on, but want to try these out beforehand.
Zachary Hughes
You pull the sticks out of the cases, then attach them on the opposite ends. Like I said, pretty cheap. Felt alright in the hand though.
Aaron Fisher
Now for the bento box.
Cameron Lewis
Feels like it's made with some quality. Matte finish and soft to the touch.
Bentley Gomez
Better angle.
Levi Edwards
Held together with an elastic band.
Owen Watson
Comes in three pieces, two bento containers and a lid for the top where the silverware and chopsticks will be stored.
Eli Rogers
Small portion bowl / seperator in the bottom bento, nothing in the top.
Jason Nelson
Storage and the top lid.
Jose Wright
And that's it. Will take additional pictures if anyone is curious about any other aspect of it, but its just a simple setup. Be good for bringing lunch to work.

I just bought one. Won't put weeb food in it but I like the form factor.
Oliver Moore
Whats a non-faggy way to bring my lunch to work?
Christopher Price
Looks good OP, I've been thinking about getting a bento box for a while now, I'll heavily consider this one.
Camden Davis
they dont make the slim separators for these anymore, do they?
Jonathan Jenkins
Go back to reddot
Jayden Wood
This is what men use.
Adrian Evans
Get off a food board if you dont want to see food related products.
Jonathan Campbell
Sorry, I was just making a joke because it says reddot award on the box. Looking back it wasn't that funny.
Ryan Cook
Explanation makes sense. Bad joke, but dont feel bad you cute little cuddlebear.
Camden Wright
that's pretty good actually

I worked as a surveyor for years and those were pretty standard, one of my party chiefs didn't have anything in his but a sixer of Busch light tallboys. Two while me and the rodman loaded the truck, two at lunch, and two on the way back to the office. After he went in and turned in his stuff for the day, he'd head to the bar and stay there until about midnight. Keep in mind we had to be at work at 6:00 am. I never once saw him eat a single bite of food, and the bar didn't serve food other than chips, that according to the bartenders he would never touch. Everyone wondered how the fuck he stayed alive. Guy was a beast in the field too, he could work all day in the south Texas Sun at not skip a beat.

Liquid bread dummy
Christopher Jenkins
Yeah, Busch light doesn't really fit into the liquid bread category jackass.
Thomas White
Ahhhh, the life of being a functioning alcoholic.
Michael Richardson
More like stupid poor blue collar slobs.
Lincoln Reyes
How much did you overpay for the tableware, chopsticks and sauce cup?
Jordan Flores
Significantly overpaid.
Silverware was $20 Chopsticks $10 Sauce cup $4...ish?
What's the point of having disposable income if you can't dispose of it though, right? Haha. Wouldn't recommend the chopsticks. I'm sure they'll work fine, but you can get a much better metal telescopic travel set for near or around the same price. The sauce cup I don't mind too much, the screw top will ensure no leakage occurs. The silverware you can take or leave. There are better travel sets for cheaper too which will store under the top lid if you do some looking around.
Julian Miller
Do you have to be a weeb to get this thing, or can you put a normal ham and cheese sandwich with chips in it?
Jaxson Hughes
There was a guy at work who used to bring a Zojirushi lunch jar. People on Flickr like to take pictures of what they put into the bowls:
I dont consider myself a weeb and I'll be using it just for normal food. I work with a ton of asians so theyre not going to look at me like wtf though, this is just business as usual for them.
Thomas White
I'm lucky enough to work somewhere that pays for my lunch
Cooper Mitchell
Fuck the haters op. This was a nice thread and Veeky Forums would be better with these kinds of posts and not the usual fast food shit posts we see from all the students
Asher Nguyen
This OP.
Great work! Enjoy your box. It's hanfsome AF.
Gabriel Wright
I use to bring one to work, but then I got sick of packing left overs every day for work. Now I might bring it two or three times a week. Long hours suck.
