Which do I pay off first? Medical bills or student loan?

Medical bills do not accrue interest but they hurt my credit score, whereas student loans have interest and it will take me longer to pay off.

I will become that man.

Bills first. Interest on any loan for someone with a terrible credit score is worse than the 5% interest on your loans

keep living that american dream, my man

This is why we need to make it illegal to have over $100k saved away. More than that and it should be redistributed to those who actually need it.

We need universal health care and universal basic income. Fuck the rich assholes who screwed you over, OP.

disgusting

I mean on one hand, I am still alive. I have a chronic illness and I am sick constantly. I have to use expensive antibiotics to clear up my lung infections. If America didn't have this type of technological advancement I'd be dead for sure.
I am in my mid 20's and have a stable job, I just don't know anyone with both lots of medical bills and lots of student loans and I just want to make the most financially wise decision.

my student loans are public (from the government) Low interest rate

The most financially wise decision is the one you don't have to make. We take the money this asshole doesn't need and he/she/xir is still able to surive without all the new wealth going to the top 1%.

Democratic socialism can create a brave new America that rejects hate and welcomes all.

>this is what brainwashed ameritards actually believe

it will come eventually. history has proven that progress tends to eventually, albeit slowly, improve the efficiency of health and wellbeing. Financial inequality is continually becoming the primary offender against wellbeing in developed nations.

It probably won't come in the form of a welfare check or regular payment, like people who live in fear cry will happen, but there will be a more even distribution of wealth in terms of housing, food, and healthcare. There's too much to benefit from improving quality of life for everyone (lower crime, lower medical bills, improved general happiness) that it will become obvious that the current process just isn't as effective as it could be in contributing to overall growth and progress.

what can I say to this man? Should I just say fuck my student loans and medical debt and run away to Europe? That would never work, they will put you in prison if you don't pay man.

Couldn't agree more. Too much wealth makes people evil and disgusting. We don't need to look further than the moron in chief to prove that.

guys I could use any advice on the subject if willing to give.

Pay off medical first. It's 'bad debt'.

Someone shop Sergey face on the woman.

I have interest on my student debt as well, should I attack the medical debt before that also?

Medical bills first, I would say.
Also, don't listen to . He's a /pol/tard that's pretending to argue for social democracy while acting retarded so as to try and discredit it as an ideology.

Why would you say medical bills first?

Medical bills have a harsher immediate effect on your life if they're hurting your credit.

Is your medical bill still with the hospital? Call them up and see if they'll allow you to do payment plan.
I've been paying $50 a month interest-free on a $2000 medical bill since Summer 2016. I make well over six figs but I'm not paying those bastards back any faster than I have to.

If it's that bad, BK out of the medical debt, and start attacking the student debt as soon as the BK is final.

Jesus, why is life so fucking hard for you?

Oh, autism. That's right, I keep forgetting.

Fuck you, soyboy socialist.

user, unironically I'll let you in on the best kept secret. The best way to get rich fast is to have no bills. Pay off whichever bill is smaller first, then take the amount you paid into that plus your minimum payment for the other and pay the next off one off quicker, and so on with all your bills including mortgage. It's called the snowball effect. Listen to the bald headed southern rebulican Dave Ramsey for more advice. Just pay off your debt, invest, and become a millionaire. It's simple.

You sound so enlightened, why aren't you in charge?

>taking out loans for indoctrination camp
>having bad genes
yes, blame rich people

I realize that our society is very sick, but everyone still has the autonomy to make decisions like not getting into debt and living a healthy lifestyle. If you didn't win the gene lottery that's called natural selection and society shouldn't foot the bill to carry your dead weight.

How about not borrowing money you can't pay back on time?

>Paying medical bills.
>Paying student loans.

Bills first.

Then nobody saves money. Congratulations, you fucked the economy.
