Just make it yourself man.

Two parts flour, one part corn meal. Salt and pepper to taste. Add cayenne and/or Old Bay for kick. I only use milk or eggwash or anything for chicken parm.

Fry in a cast iron pan. Make sure the oil is hot as fuck before putting the chicken in.

Popeyes is spicier and better

My Local Schnucks makes really good fried chicken, especially if it's the spicey kind. Walmart not so much, which ends up being greasy and the breading easily separates from the meat

I've NEVER been to Bojangles, but seen it a lot when I took a vacation with my family to South Carolina once. But I'd like to know how it compares to Popeyes, KFC, etc. or it's just another one of those restaurants where the chicken tastes like straight up cardboard.

I eat bojangles all the time where i live. It's greasey but other then that it on par with popeyes or slightley higher. there biscuits holey fuck i jizz every time i eat one. Also there steak cut fries are good but not crisp.

Bojangles blows everything out of the water because it's run by old-style niggers who know what they're doing. The kind of niggers that sell their own BBQ sauce and shit.

Sundays....Cracker Barrel....is the best fried chicken in my town. They have some crappy baked shakenbake chicken most of the week, or their horrendous chicken fried chicken "patty" they must heat up from frozen every day. So if you think they have bad fried chicken, give them another chance. But on Sunday? They make it from scratch. Two plump generous breasts buttermilk marinated with ridiculously crunchy seasoned flour that puts the homemade back into the menu. You'll have leftovers.

If you can only go to McDs, their "southern fried" is a copycat to ChickFilA, with the same bun and pickle, no mayo (add your own).
