Since most americans eat meat less than every 8 hours, (not counting sleeping periods) the average cardiovascular system of an american is always slightly inflamed. This is thought to add to CVD and specifically atherosclerotic risk factors to a large degree.

Also - we kill over 8 billion chickens a year. The manure produced from chicken farming alone could cover/fertilize an area the size of almost a sixth of the US. If you add hog and cow farming and the waste produced from that it's over a quarter of the US. (and we don;'t have that much farm lank - this is destroying several eco systems and it is not being reported on)

This is pretty straight forward, if eating meat causes cancer (and all the science does point to that) - then you would expect to see a resistance to cancer start to build up in populations that eat meat and you wouldn't expect that same thing to happen in vegetarian cultures.

If meat is killing people - then the population that can live and continue to breed will have offspring that are also likely to be resistant to diseases caused by meat.

This is why when you take the american diet and you give it to people in india - like 99% of the get CVD and diabetese. Americans have already had several generations (and our european ancestors had more than that) to start to build up a resistance, and our cvd and diabetese numbers are still shit but they are better than those poor indian bastards with no chance at adapting over time to the diet.

Second, it's also the site where animals normally make vitamin C, which we don't naturally make. If you don't cook the liver it's chock full of vitamin C and can prevent scurvy. Third, inuits don't eat just seal liver, they have a surprisingly varied diet of meats. They only get berries and roots from the short summers they have up there.
