All fruits and vegetables. They are only "fresh" while still on the tree or vine. Once you pick them off they are dying and become stale. So all fruits taste best stale.

I would argue that "stale" is just a derogatory term for "dry" or "dehydrated". Therefore, anything that goes stale is by definition worse stale. On the other hand, many foods can be dried out/dehydrated and become something better/different, but nothing is better "stale".
