Quadriga fees are ridiculous but it’s the best we leaves have. Just a heads up to NOT attempt to day trade there as they will eat your lunch in fees (0.5% for buy and sell)

My friend, I have been doing this commute daily for the last 2 years. My dad did it for the last 30. Things have only gotten worse.

Quadriga has no crypto withdrawal fees which is refreshing compared to getting ass raped on Binance for trying to withdrawal your crypto. Also, when depositing with Interac, the fee's are not so bad. Just go into TD and request an "Old debit card, that does not have the visa logo on it". If they do not have one in the branch, they will be able to mail you one, as they did for me.

TD recently blocked Crypto Purchasing through Credit Cards.

Agreed. So it seems currently on Binance the withdrawals fees are between 5-10 dollars based on what crypto you are trying to withdrawal. So on Quadriga, you would have to trade over $1000 worth of each different crypto for it to become more expensive than on Binance with the withdrawal fees accounted for.

Request an old Debit card at your bank and you are golden on Quadriga. You can do daily instant account fundings up to 4k which is super handy.

It should be notes though that if you need to get more fiat into crypto to catch a dip, you can STILL use your Visa Debit card on Coinbase. The only thing in that case is that you are unable to take advantage of the cash back that you would have otherwise been able to use from the Credit card funding option.

It took me almost 2 weeks to get verified at Quadriga, but that was was before the crash not sure how fast it is now, and last time I checked about a month ago all the funding options were disabled except some stupid voucher shit and the 50k minimum one, maybe it works now though

How do you guys even buy BTC on Quadriga? You need one of those old Interac debit cards to use Interac Online. And bank wire funding is $50,000 CAD minimum. Quadriga's bank account is CAD but it is abroad and bank tellers routinely fuck up international wires. Flexepin is easy but the fees are expensive.

Best place for funding in Canada is Coinsquare with Bank Draft. But they rip you off on the withdrawal fee there. 0.0025BTC for withdrawals. So you have to buy in bulk for it to be worth it. A $9,000 bank draft is easier to swallow than a $50,000 wire though. ezBtc is a smaller exchange and usually more expensive but you can buy BTC with Interac e-transfer or a small bank wire conveniently on there. Coinbase is convenient but they have the hidden credit/debit card charges

If you fund CAD on Kraken, you have to wire money to their Japanese bank account. It's a pain in the ass. You might have to pay a currency conversion fee because the bank tellers routinely fuck up the wires to Japan.

When did you do this at TD? I had a friend recently try and after talking to 3 different TD people and calling their offices multiple times he finally conceded there's no way they're giving him an old debit card. They claimed they never give them out anymore.

I could not get an old card at TD either after talking to 2 different people and calling their customer service line. I had to open an account with BMO and then had to call their customer service line to mail me an old Interac card. This was all in the past 3 weeks and it worked well for me.

In the mean time, Bank Draft to Coinsquare is not that bad. It's $10 or so to get a Bank Draft prepared. Coinsquare charges a 0.25% deposit fee. A stamp costs $1. The price on Coinsquare is usually higher than Quadriga.
