Gives me that warm and cozy feeling.

To me Ralph's in SoCal had the ultimate in generic, plain as fuck and yet to recognizable.

...

...

plain packaging is awesome

...

I prefer this to all of the other cottage cheeses.

...

...

...

This is depressing.

legit question: how would one know which cheese is it?

...

It's just processed american cheese, good for burgers and not much else. wahlburgers actually displays that they use government cheese for their burgers.

...

At least they didn't call it feta.

...

Sainsbury's has the best packaging.
It's like they have an elderly couple review the product and just write it on the label.

I think there's a European law about food names. For a whisky to be called "scotch whisky" for example it has to be produced in Scotland

That's good, because cow's milk does not make feta.

I gotta say, while it's not generic, pams food packaging is one of the best I've seen in any country I've been to.

I think I might be the 3rd poster here...

I like this one. It's so clean and aesthetically pleasing.

It says it right there:
"Pasteurized Process for Use in Domestic Programs"

It's THAT kind of cheese

I'm OK with 99% of the stuff in this thread.
Brands are mostly placebo. EXCEPT OUR
SALTINES HAVE REAL SEA SALT!!!!

Government cheese. I remember mom and grandma coming home with it in its cardboard box.

Damn, I'm born -91 and I remember BlÄVitt. Dat nostalgia.

How do they taste like compared to Twinkies?

dracula is really a word in the US of A?

brandX

it's simple and plain

Excuse me but No Name is a name. Please cease to post.

feelin like a-seven
feelin like a seven up!

This store has some great packaging.
Simple yet eye-catching and the subtitles are great.
Is it a UK chain?

is it really cheese though?

I buy around half of those all the time

They're the same as name brand crap

where is this?

...

Yeah it's Sainsbury's

All supermarkets have their own 2 tier brands as well as name brands.
The packaging here is their value and they're have a 'regular'. More often than not they're both exactly the same so you may as well get the value one. Rarely do I get anything name brand.
Only stuff I don't scrimp on are a few items they just can't seem to make for cheap - Toilet paper, bleach, toothpaste etc

Is this Auchan, by any chance?
The font resembles the French Auchan-brand stuff I saw in our Russian Auchan.

are you mad that it's low or high? that's a pretty good deal for 6 bags of chips

There were more foods in that picture but were airbrushed out after the last purge.

It's an off-brand Count Chocula.

The upper middle class have a slightly different perspective.

I think we can all agree on the essential nature of artichoke.

...

looks tasty

I laugh whenever I see anyone ordering Tesco Value booze. It's like they've finally given up and admitted their alcoholism.
