Do you like your wings crispy Veeky Forums? I'm doing a internship atm with some folks from around the east coast, mainly up north, who like their wings not-crispy. I've always had crispy wings, usually baked or fried, but they have them where the skin is soft. Seems weird to me, what do you guys like?
Also favorite wing sauce? Teriyaki for me

I like my wings crispier than not, especially the juicier the meat is on the inside. It makes for a nice blend of texture.
This. If it has just a hot sauce/powder then soft is okay. BBQ, maracuyq, Jack Daniels are all better in crusty. My personal favorite is crusty garlic sauce.

I've worked the fry station at a place that did tons of wings and they're best when the skin is just crispy; any more and the inside is likely to get tough.
Just had some spicy Racer 5 bbq wings last night that were great. Also love Pok Pok's fish sauce wings. Anywhere else classic buffalo with blue cheese on the side is where it's at.

Where does /ck get their favorite wings? There's a local place a few blocks from my house that smokes the wings then fries them real quick to crisp up the skin. Shits delicious but I wish they had something spicier than a basic hot buffalo sauce.

Depends on if they're breaded. If they're breaded they have to be crispy obviously, but when they're not, a nice crispy layer on the outside is nice too. In conclusion, they must always be crispy now that I think about it.

i live in the northeast and i've never had what i would call a 'soft' wing. they are almost always fried, giving them a crisp skin.

My ex gf, while drunker than hell, took a wing challenge at some place. She ate 6 atomic or something wings at some local place and won a tshirt and her name on the wall. I was hating every second of it because I knew what was going to happen, and it did. All the mixed drinks plus the super hot wing sauce and whatever else, mixed in her stomach. It caused one of the most vile, awful nights of my life with her in the bathroom over and over, passed out on the bathroom floor, shit sprayed on the toilet and her in fetal position. But she would keep on wearing that shirt with pride. I had to use the shower sprayer with an extra hose attached and a wet/dry vacuum that got thrown out after just to clean up after her. Then she had the nerve the next day to say "Those wings weren't even hot. They tasted great"
