What do you think of specialty cheese? Is it a meme?
My roommate says French cheese is better but instinctively I feel that this can't be true. Look what we did with beer. Europeans can't even compete anymore, so they have to create all these laws that a beer must be made in such-and-such place or else you can't even use the name. Pathetic
Pic related, my roommate's favourite cheese. Expensive, and, probably not worth it
inb4 Europeans telling us what to think. They are completely obsessed with us, the cucks
America produces some very fine artisanal cheeses at reasonable prices and you will never taste one in your entire life because you live in a flyover state.
Nicholas Walker
>Brie >Expensive Even I can afford brie.
Brandon Ward
>Bries is now a specialty cheese How anyone can consider flyovers suitable for human habitation is a mystery.
Angel Turner
Ile de France is nasty, your roommate has shit taste
Oliver Lewis
>they have to create all these laws that a beer must be made in such-and-such place this "law" is around 500 years old... before USA was a country...
Isaac Walker
OP isn't American.
Lucas Thompson
I am about 80% sure that the brand of cheese in op pic is produced specifically for the US market
Landon Collins
I'm 100% sure that it's a google image, and that no American is going to add an unnecessary "u" to "favorite", even as a typo.
Jackson Perez
Well he could be Aussie but the time of the post is like 3 AM in Australia and they don't have much of a beer culture...
Cameron Reed
>Look what we did with beer Made it worse? European beer > American beer. Easily. Go drink bud light or whatever. Anyways I've yet to find a blue cheese that tastes similar to my regional blue cheese. I keep trying but they always taste worse.
Thomas Evans
>Go drink bud light or whatever
There's shitty beer in Europe too, so that's an irrelevant example.
Isaiah Barnes
>European beer > American beer lol
Jace Morris
>American beer is good because a bunch of American hipsters rated American beer so highly on beeradvocate.com
Fuck off.
Ian Russell
This is what americans think of when you say "blue cheese" Protip: they think it's spelt "bleu cheese" for extra fancy
Adrian Bennett
>obsessed, yet ignorant
Jose Gray
>There's shitty beer in Europe too, so that's an irrelevant example. But the thing is, the white trash and hicks of Europe drink stuff that is better than bud light. The average working man in Europe would puke at bud light, that's how much more refined beer culture is in Yurop.
Dylan Cox
>the lowest common denominator decides what's best rather than what's actually best
Hudson Moore
kek ok
Michael Rivera
>the lowest common denominator Which also happens to be the average in U.S. Bud light, pbr are the most common and best selling beers in the U.S. And they're shit. And of course what the average person in a country consumes is indicative of the country's culinary culture
Aiden Morris
>he still for some reason thinks that craft beer is in any way hipster, and not entirely mainstream
Hipsters often ironically drink shitty cheap beer, while middle aged, middle class dads are probably the biggest market for craft beer.
Thing is, when you diverge far enough from normal tastes in anything, your tastes are perverse and, well, wrong.
Dylan Lewis
It kind of does, in a way
I like fancy craft beers, don't get me wrong, but if I could snap my fingers and exchange the limited production unobtainium Plinies and the KBSs of the world, get rid of them forever, in exchange for a future in which anything shittier than, say, Blue Moon would never be brewed again, I wouldn't even hesitate. The world would be a better place
Then again I'm a filthy socialist
Daniel Lopez
That's retarded, though. People who drink Bud light ONLY drink Bud light, whereas craft beer drinkers diversify why they drink and are always trying new things.
Angel Young
ile de france is garbage, buy something worth eating next time
Jeremiah Reyes
America's common shit beer is worse than Europe's but Europe's common popular beer is still pretty shit, meanwhile much better beer is much more widely available in America and fills a much larger part of the market, and the vast majority of the worlds best is only found in America

Goddammit where is the nudity thread, I can't find it
