In an episode of the Simpsons where homer stays home from church, he makes "out of this world moon waffles" with caramel chips and liquid smoke. I'll be recreating that tonight and also sauteeing aplles in brown sugar and JD

Now thjis only had 3 ingredients:
waffle batter
liquid smoke (i added a tsp)
krusteaz is the best pancake/waffle mix
and caramel bits
gonna let it sit after mixed in for 2 min

Well you guys, it was absolutely phenominal.
I scarfed down this one before i remembered to take pics
I added less caramel theb i thought i needed and it worked well, it's in every other bite with a swet burst adding to an otherwise neturual falfor
the smoke is subtle. the more you eat, the more it comes out. it's not neccissary but i like it.

i was gonna wrap it in butter but it's 90 degrees in here and the waffle iron isn't helping so our butter was one stomp on the floor short of becoming a liqued.
so i slathered butter on instead and that was nice but i like the whiskey applyes more
