I have a cheat day coming up and I can not wait to make one of these.
Admittedly, I got the idea from there.
And then I made the pie because I was curious. I learned a couple of things in the process.
It had a ton of eggs in it, it had a very light, satisfying taste, and I'm probably going to bake it again around Thanksgiving or Christmas.
I'm not kidding when I say that it's the comfiest pie that I have ever known.

I used this one. He does his own crust, but I just bought one instead. I'll tell you this much, a relatively thin crust suits this pie well.

I'm still relatively new to cooking in general, and that was the first time I'd ever done a pie. I made the filling from scratch. I'd be down to do it properly the next time around and actually make the crust.
