Thick but not too thick base. Not too much sauce, some fresh mozzarella, wilted spinach, mushrooms, pineapple and some diced ham. Maybe some sausage. Finished with a little bit of garlic oil.

Basic ass margherita with fresh basil leaves and EVOO added on top after it's cooled down a bit

Cheese is easily the worst part of pizza ofr me tb h. Too much makes the 'za pretty much unedible. too much sauce is fine. too much dough can be a bit hard to chew but still edible, but too much cheese just makes me throw up unless i pick it off.

Favorite pizza toppings? Well, I am certainly one who lives to experiment with different combinations, as well as new, unique and perhaps unconventional ones.

That said, I have to go with anchovies, olives and fresh sliced tomatoes. There's just nothing else quite like it.

bacon is for fatasses, hipsters, and plebs.

tomatoes are redundant, unless they're fresh, crunchy, and sweet.

mushrooms complete the taste profile for pizza, though. i understand not wanting olives because typically the sauce and cheese and meat makes it savory. olives add a richness that's unnecessary. but mushrooms are earthy-neutral. they absorb flavors around them. they fit in with anything. and if they're fresh, they look nice on a za.
