some places use meat filler

That would be a combo patty. The beef in said patty would still be 100% real beef.

We're approaching the era where it very well could be artificial printed meat

printed beef would still be scientifically indifferentiable from real beef though?

srsly tho...

WHAT IS FAKE BEEF?

Vegan-approved imitation meat, ya dingus.
Textured vegetable protein
V
P

It's not 100% meat, it's bone and gristle and all other weird shit that comes from the cow. Hardly any of it is.

>any companies out there use fake beef?
SOME restaurants used to use anything from that protein-slushy, aka "pink slime" which is like scraps. Restaurants also used to use a bit of soy, from the vegan burger kind of fame, because it can lower the cost of the burger, and still look and taste like a burger. It's vile. They got caught sneaking that shit in there. They seem to feel that they need to continue to advertise that it's 100% beef (but so was pink slime).

...

Soy proteins w/ beef flavor added. Basically tofu.

Here's the link. Looks like they dropped it in 2012

no it isn't. just because you don't like something doesn't mean you can lie about it. there is nothing to support your assertion.

>soy proteins
in beef patties

so restaurants might add stuff to their burgers like cigarette companies add chemicals to their tobacco.

>pink slime
2012 was when i could buy what i usually do for 2/3 price what i pay today.

pink slime must be cheap.

This.
I also noticed a steep price hike in McDonald's around then.
I suspect McDoubles contain bullshit meat though

burgers anynomous

the group that cures your addiction to post-death beef and artifical beef additaves.

inb4 the obese can't walk 12 steps

>so restaurants might add stuff to their burgers like cigarette companies add chemicals to their tobacco.
I honestly think the additives in cigarettes were more like flavorings that would give a distinctive taste to keep a brand loyalty going. Kind of like secret vanilla or smoother smoke, not as rancid an aftertaste, etc. Primarily, I think it was more about that than about cost saving measures for tobacco prices, which aren't that high a cost for them anyway.

>I honestly think
like i care what user thinks.

addatives in cigs increase their addictive power. proven fact.

do addatives in burgers make you addicted to your "brand" aka mcds/bk/dq

kek

what is fake beef?

Wasn't tacobell accused of using beef which was 70% beef 30% filler or something?

Nestle admitted to using child slavery. you cook with chocolate? man up and provide a link.

Sure. I ate publix fried chicken for years. Enjoyed it but never felt a craving for it.

Moved to a new state. Had popeyes. Their chicken has trans fats. Now I crave it consistently. Never had that with publix.

>pink slime must be cheap.
That's why they used it in the first place.

>publix fried chicken
not beef, but yes.
piblix is the shizz.

it does not exist im my state unfortunately.

I'll look into trans fat addictions.

yeah...pink slime is cheap...why does the price of McD burger consistently rise...20cents this year. thats millions of dollars.

Enjoy your chemtrails.

Patties are cooked for 30 seconds then place into shitty yellow plate, where it sits for 15 minutes.

Jack in the boxs tacos are soy beef and they rock.

But they arent 2 for 99cents anymore so they suck!

If the beef patties are 100%, why cant the sausage patties be 100%?

Beside filling burgers with soy proteins, and adding gristle to muscle meat, there is no such thing as "fake beef" (or "fake meat" for muscle)
That's why McD advertise this. Other meaningful formulations could be fake advertising.

I saw adds saying that their lettuce is soil-grown (as opposed to soilless/hydroponic tomatoes.)
I only see it as a reminder that lettuce is the only vegetable left in burgers that somehow resists modern farming methods.

Because sausage is offcuts.

Because democrat policies making it harder to operate

Casing is some kind of plastic, not actual animal guts?

Fucking kek. Oh boy haven't laughed that hard in a while.

they switched to synthetic casing from lamb intestine years ago.

It was just 6 months ago or so all the Micky D's where I live rebranded the dollar menu the "value menu" and made everything $1.30

Honestly just give me the fake beef desu. We could just reframe it as "space food"
