How the fuck do I use this can dispenser?

It just flops open whenever I put cans in...is it broken or missing a piece?

Look up the manual for your fridge and see if there is anything in there about it or look for replacement parts and see if you can get a diagram/picture of the soda dispenser to see if something is missing

I don't have any clue what the model is. it is a "magic chef" brand is all that I know

Same thing happened to me only mine was a full size fridge. Had to ship it back to the manufacturer only for them to tell me it is made that way on purpose and it is not a defect.

Because there was no repair done they said I was responsible for the shipping charges, which I'm taling them to small claims court for. Meanwhile they won't ship the fridge back to me until I pay for the shipping charges, so I'm stuck without a fridge going on 4 weeks now. Been keeping things cold in a cooler with ice and it's getting really annoying.
