One of the strangest things about jack is his complete lack of understanding towards basic physics. Most people would know to firmly tap it down onto the bench until the potato has fully passed through.

It reminds me of that corndog video where he kept pushing it inside the jar until the batter spilled down the sides, even a child could figure that out but it made no sense to him. He always drops food from a height into oil and acts surprised when it splashes, breaks food apart when he tries to turn it, crushes food by holding it in strange ways when he tries to eat it.
If he has to get food out of a jar or can he will just violently shake it until it gives way and makes a mess, any normal person would flip it upside down and smack the end of it or at least use a utensil. Even chimps have figured out how to eat out of a container with a tool.
