How do I make 100k a year without being smart?

how do I make 100k a year without being smart?

You don't.

Farm Koi Carps.

Crypto

sales

Invest in some knee pads and mouthwash

dump $10k into OMG

Pretty much this. But you have to be good looking and charismatic.

Entertainment industry (professional sports, acting, etc..)

Work 12 hours a day making over 20 per hour. Not that hard if you really want it and do nothing else with your life.

wtff is this "being smart" meme??
you dont have to be "smart" to be rich, in fact most of millionares and rich people are not genius tier iq, but around 100-120iq, minority over 130
being rich is more about personality and habits than anything else.

Koi carps can go for $3000 - $5000. You just need some space in your garden and 3 - 4 pools.

This is actually a genuine business for NEETs. You can make up to 500k per year selling them if you have the right buyers.

Affiliate links, make money off of those (not easy at first) then use that money to start a seller account and use them both in conjunction. Takes a lot of time to get decent income from this but people make over 8 grand a month once they're settled in. Also, any money you make from Amazon, don't invest in crypto. Learn to use the foreign exchange market. It's much easier to predict, and if you're as risky with it as you are crypto, you can turn like $500 into 20 grand less than two weeks

A gold Koi like this one can go for $7000. They breed per 10.000 Fry's. You do need the filtration system etc.

It doesn't cost too much work.

Sales, but it requires social confidence and gregariousness.

You could move to South Dakota and work oil if you're strong and have great physical endurance. Alaskan crab fishing fits here too.

Trading crypto.

why the fuck does this kind of fish cost that much

Rob rich people

If you are attractive, then Sales or Bartending.
If you are fit, be a Physical trainer.
If you are a woman, then open your legs.

then why is not everyone doing this
is it difficult right

Even smaller fry's can be sold for $4 a piece. Just do the maths if you have 10.000.

>sell 5.000 fry's for $4 (20k);
>sell 2900 larger ones for $50 (150k);
>sell 2000 a bit larger ones for $100 (200k);
>save the real big ones for high 1000+ prices.

Imagine getting this much money with each batch.

C’mon user there is money there too

Because it's for the long run. You wont see your investment back for at least 2 years. But after that, you'll be rich.

Most people are too lazy.

this is weird, even by biz standards

this guy understands "specialization"

This as well user, koi ponds also look really nice

it can fullfill you 3 wishes

what if i cut out the middle man and eat them myself?

This is very true. I am very brainlet but bring in ~$60k a year selling gym memberships kek.

They're pond fish user. Nobody eats them.

Take notes

clearly you've never ordered fish tacos anywhere in America

lmao, this too. A lot of biz needs some sense beaten into them, might as well get paid for it

Because it takes a long while to make them 60cm+ and it's slightly RNG.

Look for emerging markets OP

For example, bitcoin which people lambasted it as worthless but take the philosophy of nothing for something

The greatest gain is to plan to buy something at none existent price then wait until it hits 50-100% price greater than what you brought it for then either sell and make a profit or expand your portfolio and keep investing it to keep bringing in a greater return.
A road map of where you want to go and research is all you need to make profit, to hit 100k a year is ambitious but not impossible.

Walmart Store Manager. They make $100k, while Assistant Managers make $54k. Store Managers can bonus another $100k depending on sales. You can make $200k a year working at Walmart while telling others what to do.

sounds like crypto tbqh

im white, smart and poor.
does white privilege only exist in where white people are the minority?

this is a fraud, it won't end well, someone's going to get killed. what are the koi backed by? nothing? well then you're just waiting for a bigger fool to come by and pay a higher price from you. that's tulip. I'm out.

It is, however if you have a setup like pic related, you're bound to make over 300k a year. That's more than most college degrees.

>white, smart, poor

suck dick for cash

my dream house business would be one level bitcoin mining, one level this, and one level is pawn stars

I'm thinking of getting in this business because of its high profitability. I'm just doing research at the moment before I start on it in a year or so.

I'm going for a setup like pic related, it's not hard to do this with some plywood and bricks.

i guess you also need some reputation in the right circles to get the buyers?

I'd like to know this as well. How do you go about getting the connections in the first place?

>I'm thinking of getting in this business
really? I couldn't tell by the koi image archive you apparently own.

lmao, this was when he bet on denver to beat the seahawks. fucking hilarious

kneepads sucking sushi dick

High end hooker.

I did some research on this. It would take around 1 - 2 years with SEO marketing and memberships with pond-fish dealers, which is exactly the amount of time needed for the first few sales.

So basically Koi farming is close to guaranteed profits.

How much does a passable crossdresser earn for a shoot

IT security, 100k+. Install Linux (it's free) and follow youtube videos to learn. Learn iptables, snort ips, how to manage/secure services, deal with vulnerabilities, whatever. Sit in air conditioning all day, low risk, high reward. Find a 24/7 operation to work a swing, night, or weekend shift for more money. No need for smarts, work with plenty of idiots, just need to focus and develop a skillset.

Also this, next to the Koi farming I'm going for programming and networking as a prime objective. It's less RNG based, so I'm already making more money than I ever did.

Quitting college was the best thing I ever did.

s-sauce

lol, nicely done

i Don't remember try reverse search

I'd like to say thanks bud this is very much in my interests as I have a dream to both feed my senpai and teach my children strong values by having an aquaponic farm on my property. I doubt Karp would be good stock for aquaponics but it seems fucking fun. One of my first jobs when I was like 13 was riding around with a guy who owned a fish store, cleaning and setting up fish tanks.

Stop this

Buy crypto and don’t try and trade it wait a year

Dropped out of college to start working in IT, ended up going back when company said they'd pay. 1 class away form B.S. in information security 100% debt free. Will I ever use it? Probably not, but since they're paying for it, fuck it. M.S. on their dime is next.

...

I'm running linux and doing some courses on admin/security but unsure how to actually break into the field? Just make a resume saying I have set up and secured some servers? What about vmware/ethical hacking/Cisco certs?

Same, you can let your wife and children do the work while you're doing something else as well. It builds a bond within the family.

I've researched a lot of high-profit animals and Koi carps and Parrots were the highest chance, because of the higher demand.

Other options would be:
>Breeding dogs (samoyed can go for 2000 - 3000)
But dogs are too much work
>Breeding cats (british shorthairs and maine coons)
>Breeding eagles and falcons (dubai apparently buys them for 10k a pop)

Each one of these are harder than koi's and parrots. Chickens are inevitably the easiest, however they take the most space and are semi-profitable. If you can really sell the koi's and parrots, it's better to go for exotic.

Then why buy them?

underappreciated

also helps to have no conscience

hello. classical underachiever here

There's a demand for exotic pond fish so people can show off their debt-received wealth. Just give the people what they want.

can you share some articles/source for this pic? this actually looks insanely lucrative.

Just search for koi-farming or pond-fish farming on google. If you have the space, why not just use it? Most of us user's don't even use their garden.

yeah i've got a backyard with a ton of dead space we're not utilizing. in socal too so the climate is pretty solid year round, and people down here go crazy for shit like this.

If you're trying to build up some work experience in the US, look at state government and colleges. They often need helpdesk/desktop support type guys. This will give you the freedom to continue learning a more desirable skill set (Linux server admin for example) while building "professional" work experience. Those entry level jobs pay anywhere from $12-$20/hr depending on your area but are low stress and will provide an environment to improve upon your skills.

If that isn't what you're after, do some "consulting" for local businesses. Lawyers, real-estate, and other small business owners are suckers for virus clean ups and "pc health and wellness checks". Great way to establish a social circle with other business owners in your community.

As for certs, I developed my skills based on what I was interested at the time and brain dumped a lot (most) of the certs I have. All the CompTIA and Cisco certs have answer keys floating around. Respectable certs that catch the attention of human resources are CISSP, SSCP, CCNA, CCNA Security, CEH, maybe some others i'm missing. But if you want to impress a technical manager look for practical exams like RHCSA, RHCSE, Offensive Security Certified Professional, etc. Exams/certs that aren't a multiple choice answer bank and require you to actually demonstrate competency carry more weight among nerds making hiring decisions.

Wow this is actually pretty helpful as well. I will use this, atm I'm doing some freelance work for some experience, but I don't really like working for other people. So I want just enough to save some money to work on my own projects (and the exotic animal thing on the side).

This thread has been the most helpful one for a while on Veeky Forums. Hope I contributed accordingly as well.

Forgot to mention, we've hired guys based on their personal projects before. In other words, they didn't have the enterprise experience in a real world settings, but they displayed competence through their personal lab experience. If you put on your resume you know how to write regex for the development of IDP/IPS signatures, you better be prepared to white board 2-3 different ways to regex match a social security number. If you say you know PHP, be prepared to white board 3-4 different types of loops. Just don't put shit on your resume you know nothing about, a good interviewer will call your bluff and it's just awkward afterward. Why people do this I'll never know.

rental serivce and/or paying some pro to invest in treasury bonds overseas for you

When do you even need a while loop if you got for loops anyway? I've never had a situation where they were more preferable. It just seems like an academic smugginess to use different kinds of loops.

Good question, I have no clue. I'm not a professional software engineer, but years ago I had PHP, Bash, and some other shit on my resume. Interviewer asked me to write 4 different types of loops in PHP on a white board. Just sharing my experiences. In this case it was interviewer smugness I suppose.

suck 100k dicks for U$1 each

Shit turns me off hard. Im not into the idea of busting ass so I can go get my ass busted more for a chance to bust ass for someone else.

Trades

We look at it differently. Linux and network security started out as hobbies for me. Now I get paid a lot to do something I enjoy. As for busting ass for someone else, I don't know how to avoid that in a capitalist society. You'll always exchange your goods/services for someone else's capital.

Yeah the only thing I gave up on was university, because it would take 6 years to suck up to so many people I despise. But I sure as hell can do it for a few months. There's just a limit to what we can handle.
