What is a good way to get papers that I can't access?

My school doesn't have access to 3 papers that I want, and I don't want to pay for a paper that is older than the average Veeky Forums user

what always worked for me was finding the paper in an edited volume or just looking on google/google scholar

I tried this but to no avail, everything there just points me back to the original that I don't have access to.
