Facts can be cherry-picked.
The fact that men or women perform better at particular tests or questions is considered sufficient reason to exclude them (e.g. the cube analysis test where men score significantly better) from IQ testing and it has been so for decades. The lack of significant differences in IQ between sexes is an ASSUMPTION of the IQ model, not a conclusion based on IQ testing. Comparing sexes is simply outside the domain of IQ testing, because that factor is corrected for from the start.
But of course IQ tests still end up being cited as proof of the lack of differences in the variable which has been corrected for, because social scientists are sloppy and their fields highly politicised. This sort of circular reasoning and citation incest is par for the course in many fields in any case.
