retardation and genetic defects
other than that we've been doing it for generations and we are still alive, so go ahead and fuck your sis.

Simply this: It is literally anti-social.

It isn't. Chronic incest is bad.

incest is only perceived as "bad" because that is the majority (ie IQ 100) moral opinion of most societies.

incest babies are actually bad from a non subjective standpoint tho due to higher prevalence of genetic diseases.

>genetic diseases
but wouldnt you get other diseases from other breeds

disease is not objectively bad

stop posturing

whats it like living with autism?

It is only genetically bad, if you procreate via incest. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with it.

why though, WHY!!

> bad
nah it feels good tbqh

If monkeys having incest makes humans, then maybe we shouldn't say it's all that bad, right? Maybe it's just a social stigma because humanity fears replacing itself with superior beings as with what happened to chimpanzees.

Gene phenotypes can be A (wildtype, dominant) and a (recessive)

a person can then have AA, Aa, aA, and aa combinations, where A will be encoded over a. that means only aa will express the a phenotype.

parent X is aa, parent Y is Aa.
their siblings can be: Aa, aA, aa, aa
remember that aa gives disease

now say the siblings are
Aa and Aa: Gives child with: AA, Aa, aA, aa (25)
Aa and aa: Gives child with: Aa, aA, aa, aa (50%)
aa and aa: Gives child with: aa, aa, aa, aa (100%)

this is just an example, it's just a higher chance, not a certainty.

it depends which phenotypes the parents have, and which phenotypes they pass on to the two siblings.

There is a higher chance that the two siblings will contain a phenotype for the disease gene than a random stranger. And that's all there is to it.

That's an invalid argument.

We could just as easily have the opposite case where members of a family have purely a recessive gene that makes them better in some way. For instance, say that this recessive allele makes you immortal, but if you have the dominant allele, then you die of old age. Then naturally, breeding with your sister would be the smart move, since then your children would be guaranteed immortality.

An hypothetical scenario, let's say there is a perfect man, he has a child with his perfect sister. This tradition continues generation by generation. Is mental retardation possible if genes are perfect?

idk but one thing is for sure:

ur a retard

What if you breed with someone else that has aa ? Is there any technical difference then sleeping with ur sister who has aa and sleeping with someone else that has aa ? If the answer is no, then it doesn't correspond to incest in any way

It's got to do with dominant and recessive genes. I don't know heaps about it but basically the odds of genetic defect are higher the more closely related the parents are

i said its just a higher chance, not a certainty.

the higher chance comes from the possibility of the siblings BOTH acquiring the recessive allele.

there is still the chance that the stranger could also have the allele, but it would be statistically lower.

summary: siblings have a higher chance of giving the child the aa phenotype than a stranger.

genetically there would be no difference, however when you consider the vast amount of genes that have the potential to cause disease, and that siblings tend to have similar phenotypes, the probability of inheriting disease increases massively compared to a stranger who may have only a few similar phenotypes.

This is wishful thinking. Good genes, dominant or recessive, eventually predominate inferior ones, assuming our basis for "good" is increased fitness. This means the majority of low frequency recessive traits are naturally deleterious as adaptive traits increase in frequency fairly quickly within the population. Maladaptive recessive traits are extremely common as their frequencies are low and heterozygose "Aa" carriers do not express the maladaptive trait, which prevents the complete elimination of the trait by natural selection. Forces like genetic drift can eventually eliminate these low frequency genotypes by chance, but in large populations drift has low effect.
So unless you and your sister both carry a novel beneficial mutation from one of your parents its more likely you get increased risk of genetic defects sorry. On the bright side, you and your cousin are likely genetically different enough that there is no statistical reason to not fuck her.

what's it like using ad hominems?

incest is fun for the whole family :^)

...

its like being autistic, except only temporarily

Take your sick pedophile cartoons back to you fucking weeaboo degenerates. This is a board for scientific discussion, not for your illicit fetishes.

I hope you get in prison.

>Get in prison
You should go to prison as well

if incest is bad, how are we supposed to preserve our royal bloodlines?

checkmate

And as an example of the above:
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fumarase_deficiency

>Fumarase deficiency is extremely rare, with only 13 diagnosed and identified cases worldwide until roughly 1990.
>Since then an additional 20 cases have been documented in the twin towns of Colorado City, Arizona (formerly known as Short Creek or the Short Creek Community), and Hildale, Utah
