Im 19 and only have 7% of my net worth in crypto (almost £1k)

I have an urge to put more in ICX or REQ, what do biz?

about 60%. I try to keep enough in my bank account to pay bills and be prepared for an emergency if one ever comes up.

i'm 21. 30k in crypto, 10k in the bank.
as a rule i don't ever put more fiat into crypto, i only take money out (my initial investment was $250 last april). in other words i treat it like a second job. if i want more money in crypto i have to trade my way up. this forces me to make safer plays, and avoid the "get rich quick," slot machine mentality

i had no way of knowing the entire market was gonna expand 1000% only months after getting into crypto. from my perspective, it could have easily gone the other way. so that was just a rule that i set for myself, because i still feel that crypto investing is only one step away from gambling and i don't want to get addicted--gambling addictions destroy people's lives.

also, i only had to outperform the market by 10x to get the kind of gains that i got. it's much harder to pull off 100x gains nowadays, seeing as the entire market isn't gonna pull a 10x anytime soon. to get 100x gains you either have to be extremely skilled at trading or catch a bunch of consecutive moon missions, which is also very difficult. that being said, i'm still bullish on crypto in general (and especially the project i'm all-in on), and never cash out more than 1 or 2% of my stack at any given time
