How long do you usually boil steaks for?
I usually do it for 5-10 minutes, then drain them and finish them in a pan to sear the outside.

You have to cook it real good to get rid of the blood and all the germs.
bring salted water to a boil, then drop the steak in for about 2 minutes

It keeps them from drying out.

Serve with a nice side of ketchup.
I just take a steak throw it on a plate and microwave it for 20 seconds. I have like at least 4 t-bones a week of these. Bloodsteak.
I wouldn't eat a steak that has been boiled less than an hour. Personally I give it 80 minutes just to be certain.

I boil my steak about 4 minutes a side in whole milk/honey/cinnamon/nutmeg/vanilla mixture, garnished with a side of jelly beans.
Some people prefer their steak over hard in which case you should probably go double that time a side.
