Single Malt

You may choose one but only one.

Christ, no Lagavulin?
I guess it's the Ardmore then.

Laphroaig 10

>Ardmore in the UK $31 Australian
>Ardmore in Australia $60 Australian

Man, fuck this overtaxed shit hole.

I've only tried glengoyne and Glenlivet from, and I'd go with the latter

I've tried quite a few other than that and it's still my favorite, with Aberlour close by

I used to eat over easy eggs with fried spam

Highland park used to be a great all rounder (bit of smoke, a bit coastal, bit of peat, bit sherried.....starts off sweet on the palate, ends up dry. Good complexity). Old pulteney used to be one of the best "budget" malts and was often on discount in supermarkets.

I think the lower end supermarket malts in op's pic have gone down hill duke 2008.....but I'm not too sure these days as I stopped drinking 18 months ago.talisker used to be solid. Laphroig is good if you're into elastoplast and TCP.

I'D give glen moray and jura a wide birth.

Highland Park 12

Edradour 10

britfag here, where did you take that photo? These prices are very cheap.

Out of that lot, either Highland Park or Aberlour 12 for me. Possibly Laphroaig 10.

Any one of the laphroaig, highland park, or aberlour. Don't mind glenmorangie at all, but every time ive seen it, was cheaper than say the laphroaig 10, so i'd be inclined to go with things that I usually see priced higher

Glenmorangie all day and night

Lagavulin 16

Laphroaig
Obviously!

Any other choice, well either -

1) You're not from the British Isles (that does include Ireland, dumbfuck Americunts)
2) You don't understand Scotch Whisky
3) See 1&2

Easy. Picture related.

>Getting an Original when it's an overpriced young bourbon oak only aged single malt
>Not putting a few pennies towards the league's better Lasanta or Quinta Ruban
If you want unpeated Aberlour 12 is better on that shelf

Wow that shit is alot cheaper across the pond.

Arbelor 12 out of these bad boys

Glenlivet 12yr for the big bottle cost me about 60$
My states gommie 20% liquour tax and 5.5% consumption tax on top of it

Now that I look some of those bottles are pints on the bottom shelf. So the prices are kind of similar.

Rather spend 5 dollars more for some buchanan's.

Glenfiddich 15 is better than all those Glenmorangies, and it's well priced.

Makro

How much is Aberlour 12 over there? It is about £25 in the normal supermarkets here. Laphroaig between £22 and £30, and Highland Park £20 - £25

>25 pounds
>tfw it's like 40+ euros in NL which equates to roughly 35 pounds

user I'll pay you 30 euros per bottle to bring it over :3

Lmao, bought my Aberlour 12 for 19.20 euros, cuz im eastern european masterace
