If you're ever out on a Friday night in the city you'll see this, two guys actin all tough and getting in eachother's faces while their girlfriends try to pry the guys apart, usually with some kinda sexual implication. Like if these two guys fight their girls are gonna be pissed and they'll both have a bad night in the bedroom.

Cases like this happened back in WWII, when European women from all over started to date and marry German soldiers who were stationed in the area.
