They look so fucking annoying. I hate that mustache and his voice.

My mom identifies mostly with her Sicilian heritage, so she cooks a lot of Italian dishes
This stuff makes me want to vomit every time
She also makes these once a year, they're the best donuts I've ever had
Pölsa Grandmother made it all the time, and my mom made it on occasion. HATED it
not really obscure and is just a fruit but i love these things, just had some few days ago
Liver is actually really good. Thin sliced calve's liver cooked on the griddle, and chopped chicken liver
I always thought this dish was a Southern thing. I had never had it/heard of it until I moved to Texas.
what about the fifty other small dishes?
...
I always wanted to try nato t looks like it has a gooey texture I would like plus if the taste is kind of salty beans I can't see anything wrong with it
As a man from Japan, a lot of us hate nattou too. We like to give to foreigners when they ask for "exotic" food, real funny.
Who else could it fucking be.
How the fuck could you like vomit?
This is a weeab that lives in Japan but only eats fried foods
Fuck yeah, fung zhou (sp?).
I don't know who freaks out more at the sight of me eating these, the waitresses or other gweiloh (I'm a 2 meter tall blue eyed skinhead looking motherfucker).
"Foods you think are obscure memefoods only popular and normal in their country of origin, but they're actually memes there too" would make for a better thread imo
Taste isn't salty unless you add salt. It is savory though. Reminiscent of unsalty soy sauce.
Natto is pretty good, so I'd be fine with that. I wouldn't ever do the raw egg shit though.
Portugal is especially good at that shit

This one is literally called "Old Clothing"
Classic Christmas dish

Who in their right mind would eat a fish that looks like this?
Honestly all that food looks amazing.. Except for old clothes.. Looks kind of bland. Will check ingredients
You don't have to marry it.
None of that looks gross. In fact, it all looks fucking delicious. And knowing the quality of most Portuguese produce, it probably is.
Well, old clothes is literally leftovers from Christmas Eve
It is kinda gross, at least for me, I was forced to eat that food when I was a kid. I hate most codfish dishes now except for
What the hell? I love stuffed bell peppers, what's wrong with it? It's literally bell peppers, ground beef and cheese
sigaretta figlio di una puttanna
when i lived in japan for a while, a fair proportion of people ate natto regularly in my dorm. supermarkets had a section for it, it wasn't an obscure or meme food at all.
literally meat and vegetables dumbass
>kicking 3 of these across the river in Super Mario Sunshine
I'm assuming you lived in Japan for a couple months tops. Natto is one of the most popular breakfast foods in the country, so of course the supermarkets had a section for it.
Traditional and popular easter dessert here in Finland. Malted rye, looks dubious, tastes sweet. People mix it with cream or milk.
actually for a year on foreign exchange
