The magenta colored border is visual element of Googles object recognition software.
The number on the right indicites the degree of similarity.
So seeing how computers are still so naive while most of the people who own one, don't even fully understand how they work in their current state, kinda makes me lol

Also because I'm obviously replying to one of said people.

I thought that 0.94 was supposed to be pretty good, i.e. the scale goes from 0 to 1.

The joke is that google is almost sure it's a pipe, but the caption says "this is not a pipe"

Oh, so my initial assertion was correct after all.
The joke doesn't work, because an image recognition bot fucking up in exactly the same way most people who don't understand anything about art or philosophy do.
It would be funny if the bot was certain that it is not a pipe.

the joke is that googles super duper mega uber algorithm still doesn't know what a art is, even if presented on a silver tablet...

This artwork by Magritte is commonly understood that "Ceci" is refering to itself and that it is not a real object, but rather a visual metaphor.

Though "Ceci" could also reference to something else, which could also be a valid point of view because in the end its a matter of perspective anyways.

A (sane) human instantly grasps this concept undecidability in this paradox scenario, but the computer seems to be more sure of what he is looking at, which I find funny. Why? Just magine how the 0.06% would be defined if
'NOT-PIPE' is not an option. :^)

PoS book. that's the only answer I wanted.
