Since the collaboration started in June 2016, multiple parties have piloted the platform including DuPont, Dow Chemical, Tetra Pak, Port Houston, Rotterdam Port Community System Portbase, the Customs Administration of the Netherlands, U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
A broader group of global corporations have already expressed interest in the capabilities and are exploring ways to use the new platform, including General Motors and Procter and Gamble to streamline the complex supply chains they operate and Agility Logistics to provide improved customer services including customs clearance brokerage.
Additional customs and government authorities, including Singapore Customs and Peruvian Customs, will explore collaborating with the platform to facilitate trade flows and enhance supply chain security. The global terminal operators APM Terminals and PSA International will use the platform to enrich port collaboration and improve terminal planning. With support from Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau by connecting to its Global Quality Traceability System for import and export goods, the platform can also link users to important trade corridors in and out of China.
>Maersk
It's over.
>IBM
>Hyperledger Fabric
>ChainLink
IBM has their own in-house oracle, it's not happening my nigger. We're all getting JUSTed soon
EXIT ALL SHIP CHAINS !!!!!!! NOWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh okay. You've convinced me.
Everyone from Veeky Forums just got chinked
Its time to go home boys
Good thing VEN does more than just supply chain, at least!
Walmart, JD, IBM and Tsinghua University will work with food supply chain providers and regulators to develop the standards, solutions and partnerships to enable a broad-based food safety ecosystem in China. IBM will provide its IBM Blockchain Platform and expertise, while Tsinghua University will act as a technical advisor sharing its expertise in the key technologies and the China food safety ecosystem. IBM and Tsinghua will collaborate with Walmart and JD to develop, optimize and roll out the technology to suppliers and retailers that join the alliance.
lol
>tfw all the big companies are making their own blockchains for shipping supply
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU DAMN YOU KIKES WHY DIDNT YOU LET ME GET RICH FIRST
All this shit they do anyway just in a different way. Its hardly revolutionary tracking goods for gods sake. This is a load of shit like the year 2000 bug a big nothing burger merely a reason to charge more nothing else.
Like what?
They're going to handle everything. We're doomed. I'm feeling a bit nauseous
Thanks Maersk keep doing the great work
hey look, trac just plummeted in value from this news.
oh wait no it didn't.
dApps and shit
Like making trailers for the Tron sequel
That's what 20 trillion by 2020 means. Your shitcoins are not going to see that money.
>JD.com
>partnership with Devery
>tfw I'm all in on Devery
My life has never been this comfy before.
kek
I feel btfo. Should I sell? I'm still like x5 my investment.
Sorry to rain on your parade but all JD supply chain is being done with IBM. You think they would use a shitcoin from a failed CEO with zero credentials?
>private """""blockchains"""""
>JD.com is the largest online retailer in China, 3rd largest in the world
>Devery focuses on e-commerce
Connect the dots, brainlet.
I love how Devery shills always say they have a partnership with JD. When really they are in JD's accelerator. Which is like saying anyone in Y-Combinator has a partnership with Google
Devery CEO biggest achievement = making an app for his macbook touch bar. Good luck.
We're not gonna make it, are we? ;_;
Well "partnership" might not be the best word to describe it, but you get the idea. JD.com has a stake now in Devery. Their help in funding etc will help Devery to grow even faster.
Like any projects/companies out there, Devery is not a one-man-show, brainlet. 3/5 of the core team members are devs, with one of them being an ex-NASA software engineer. Also take a look at their advisors. Read more.
They absolutely do not. Take it from someone who is currently working at a Y-Combinator startup. Accelerators help you a little, but once you're through you're on your own. No partnerships, no nothing. JD will just take their share and dip.
Too late now. If it doesn’t at least recover to ATH on mainnet I’m unironically cashing all out
Sounds like what the word “incubator” is meant to convey
Exactly, and an accelerator is the same shit. I'm just point that out because I'm tired of retarded Devery shills
>Muh JD partnership
I'm sorry. LINK already claimed it.
>centralized companies entirely based on physical goods are going to use and trust a no-name team from china and use a public blockchain with no SLA for their infrastructure
late adopters are fucking retarded
Alright thanks for the input. But even if that accelerator program means shit, at least a company as big as JD.com has acknowledged Devery. And with its mere $10M market cap, I believe this is really the floor. Don't wanna sound too optimistic, but it can only go up from here.
Even if this is the floor, that doesn't mean it has to or will go up. Devery is the most sketchy of all the supply chain coins imo. Just my $.02
>Even if this is the floor, that doesn't mean it has to or will go up
True.
>Devery is the most sketchy of all the supply chain coins imo
I thought so too in the beginning. But their advisors are top notch, and I'm convinced.
do you in all seriousness believe that such a company can get such a project going in
this
btw the war of the sad bagholders wins ary in this case, patents pending for whatever they do eld-something
they have clearly more future than devery
disclaimer: salty walty myself
should have gone with the us company
thats the reason serious companies like unflexible giants like ibm
they are stable
go back to your hentaimachine and dream about how sketchy marketingconman will disrupt bigboy industries
protipp: not gonna happen
>advisors
those mean about as much as your "partnership" with JD.
Also the whole product is not that great to begin with. It's supposed to protect retailers from fake goods. But 95% of fake goods are bought knowingly because they are fake and thus have a much lower price.
Shitchain is cancerious
shipchain can suck my dick
have you even looked at the team? highly recommend doing so.
token release this week, get all coins u can
I say again
shipchain can suck my dick
mysterious whitepaper at best
insane hype for dutch auction ico
will buy after whales dumped on you maybe
do you even know flexport?
aka shipchain already in business with 500 plus employees
It is a meme for publicity. They aren't really competing with VEN
you should read the ibm hyperledger blog, very interesting
they are far more ahead
do you honestly think some get quick rich marketing man who steal money from internetretards legaly are the first who thought about these concepts?
>those mean about as much as your "partnership" with JD.
Disagree this time. Unlike most advisors who are only names on the website, Devery's advisors are actively involved with the core team. Bokky is not only a technical advisor, but he's working directly with the core team to integrate his BTTS node onto Devery mainnet.
Dorjee as logistics advisor is also actively involved. Devery's marketing machine will start running this month after they finished hiring a PR/partnership specialist and some new devs.
FYI both Bokky and Dorjee showed up in the telegram from time to time and answered some questions from the community.
>It's supposed to protect retailers from fake goods. But 95% of fake goods are bought knowingly because they are fake and thus have a much lower price.
Or maybe there are some retailers who want to buy authentic and high quality goods. I don't know. Just maybe.
>But 95% of fake goods are bought knowingly because they are fake and thus have a much lower price.
Tagging luxury goods could be a status symbol play (“check out muh blockchain and scannerz”).
They are very behind. They were just speaking at an event about the possibilities with blockchain and they're showing interest. Just like how they are showing interest in stellar but they arent actually partnered or anything like that
yeah bloomingdales is really struggling to get real Christian Louboutin shoes
That's retarded
anyone buying luxury goods is buying them at a high end store. No chance it will be fake and blockchain will never catch on as a status symbol

Game Over man. Game Over.
they will just buy companies with interesting concepts, like always
thats how it works
innovation is usually done by small players, the big boys swallow and voila
thats the main reason i did'nt put money into eve
they collected funds in an cayman islands fund and then went on a holiday cruise for two weeks
then development starts when they hired devs and paid the "advisors" to calm the tg channel
now marketing starts after buying a pr man
means they have done shit all other than collecting a lot of money to figure out what to do and how afterwards
also the 1,5 pager about the "product" in the whitepaper
tl,dr: next
It could catch on among the Asian crowd who likes showing off their wealth.
no
user, i don't want to be offensive (lol), but
training in mental gymnastic is usually a really bad sign if you are a bagholder
Completely agree. Like I’ve said I’m ready to cash out. Everything is overspeculative and nothing works. I have some hope left for blockchain + IoT
Confido part2, the deluded will fall again.
why? that's so far down the road. why not relax on the meme coins
>why not relax on the meme coins
What do you mean by this?
