In Spanish is pretty simple: Euler.
Who is that woman?
I don't know. Maybe his native language or something. But what do I know, I'm just a retard.
While this is still BTFO, these words are Greek -> Latin -> English etymology, Euler is German.
ur mum lol
[euler]
like in dota euler's scepter
literally every language. In no language does Eu make an oil sound. But then again I know many Americans who pronounce their own names wrong. Nothing new there. So yeah it's OIL-ler but in truth, grammatically and phonetically that's incorrect.
How much German do you speak?
Oil-er because it's German.
Yoo-clid because it's Greek.
Eh-oo-ler
Only Americunts who refuse to acknowledge the existence of languages and cultures apart from their own pronounce it "yoo-ler".
>it's OIL-ler
yes, it's generally pronounced like that. specificially as ['ɔJ.lɚ] in standard american.
>literally every language
in french can correspond to the vowel [y] or the vowel [o].
>grammatically and phonetically that's incorrect
not really. it has nothing to do with grammar, and english spelling isn't phonetic to begin with.
>I know many americans who pronounce their own names wrong
you can't pronounce your own name wrong.
>in no language does Eu make an oil sound
technically yes, there's no language in which the symbols correspond to the full pronunciation of the word . but I think you actually mean to refer to the english diphthong [ɔJ] (the vowel sound in "oil"), which is false. in german is pronounced almost exactly as english [ɔJ].
>reading up on math in hs
>see a lot about this euler guy
>always read it as yooler
>get into college
>prof says oiler
>heart broken, feel stupid
>Writing system not contain enough information about correct reading.
English is for retards.

Don't be a faggot, lad; that isn't even a quality shitpost.
Eu tu

Eu tu, Brutus?
That doesn't make any sense. English is complex, with many exceptions to rules, so it is harder to learn. Often listed as one of the hardest.
How could you be so dense?
english is mid level, russian, arabic and chink languages are way harder
It's Yooler and Oiclid. It's common to mix them up.
Thanks, I'll keep Oiclid in mind next time I hear someone say Yooler to show my sophistication.

I don't know if you were aware of this, but the Latin alphabet is used in a lot of different languages in incompatible ways.
