That thread is a shitstorm, most people are posting wrong answers on purpose to trigger other anons.

3x = 2x + 5

3a = 2b + 1
a + 2 = b

3a = 2a + 5 | -2a
a = 5

5 + 2 = b
b = 7

...

324

400. You square the product. This isn't 7th grade.

Seriously man, you square the product of thr two numbers. How in the world did you get 324? Please explain.

that's 7, anyone has a harder puzzle? this is actually entrataining

7. My proof is attached.

I didn't know Michael J Fox frequented Veeky Forums

yellow apple is 0, red apple is a -2. The numbers are in Z(5)*-1 and 1 = -1 sometimes

red 5 yellow 7

7 (substituting red apples for yellow apples in first equation)

Rabbit is 3, Cat is 7, and Dog is 17
1.) c+r=10
2.) r+d=20
3.) d+c=24

2.) r=(-d)+20
1.) (-d)+20+c=10
c=(-10)+d
3.) d+(-10)+d=24
2d=34
d=17

-1

Jesus Christ you are all retarded.

Let r be the vale of the red apple and y the value of the yellow apple.

Then [math] r^3=y^2+1 [\math] and since [math] r+2=y [\math] it follows
[math] r^3=(r+2)^2+2 [\math]

Some simple Galois theory shows that this polynomial has a unique real root, namely r=3.

So [math] y=r+2=5 [\math]

...

>r + r + r = r^3
You're really good at this. Are you a high school teacher?

Add together the red and orange to get two dogs, a cat and a rabbit (44). Subtract yellow to get two dogs(34). Divide by two to get one dog(17). Add the yellow to get one of each animal. Blue = 27.

right...

Add the knowns up and get double the unknown

This, apple = 5, lemon = 7

Cat = 7, rabbit = 3, dog = 17, ? = 27
