Pretty much, yeah - brace yourself for it. Oddly enough, I have had many recurring "extreme weather" dreams including tornadoes and tidal waves the size of 10 story buildings. I've braced myself in a dream where a tornado smashes into me more than once - and I always end up OK in the dream. After awhile it becomes routine. I actually really enjoy tornado dreams nowadays.

Imagine never getting to escape life to your dreams. Never getting to rest easy in your bed, knowing that every night you may witness another atrocity within the realm of human possibility. Imagine being in constant cycle between day to day horrors IRL and fabricated hyper-realistic atrocities conjured by an over-active subconscious mind.
