What herbs are pictured? I recognise the basil, sage, rosemary, thyme and mint. What are the others?

The proper way:
/oʊ/ /pʰiː/ /Jz/ /ə/ /ˈfæɡət/

I say herb, ba-zil, toe-mah-toe, jewelery. I live in the US and hear a lot of "huh?".

American English is the greatest thing to happen on this god blessed earth, please respect it as such.

We pronounce herbs like the French, and the reason goes back to the Revolutionary War. In case people forget, the French and Americans were allies for quite a long while, and because of that we use and pronounce many words as the French. It was a nod to our friendship and a snub to the British at the time, and it stuck. It also came through the ports, in particularly the Port of New Orleans, and ports in the Great Lakes, anywhere where there was a large French population.
