I eat one somewhat big meal that's around 850-1000 calories in the late morning (like 9:00-11:00 usually) and then I eat dinner which is about 1000-1600 calories

Don't know. I get about 1500 calories a day from alcohol and usually have one or two unhealthy takeout or microwave meals to go with that so probably around 3000-3500 a day. It's why I've put on so much weight although if I go without drinking for just a few days I seem to immediately slim down.

I think it's around 2000, usually:

breakfast: 2/3 eggs (omlettes, shakshuka, frittata, sunny side up) and an avocado-coriander tomato salad. some feta/cottege cheese or some better cheeses if i can afford.

snacks: cracker with sugar free peanut butter

lunch: beef or chicken, with some salad and rice. often changes, sometime it's just salad.

dinner: either a steak or some chicken with salad, sometimes a stir fry with rice, sometimes a curry. sometimes it's just salad and fruits.

snack: usually fruits, some chocolate or peanut butter.

I average around 2,000 to 2,500.

I normally have whatever was left over from dinner for breakfast. Lunch will normally be two grilled sandwiches; bread, some thin slices of meat, mustard pickles, jarlsberg, bread. Dinner can be anything, but I prefer making buttered chicken with rice and naan bread.

For drinks I usually just drink soda water, which is nothing more than fizzy water I use to trick my inner fatfuck into thinking I'm consuming something bubbly and full of sugar, and a coffee or tea in the morning.

Yeah I do intermittent fasting. I like to be thin, so only eat 1800-1900 calories per day, but still want to eat good dinners. So I'll just fast all day and then at night eat whatever I want (pretty much). If I get hungry at lunchtime I'll have a light lunch and then watch it a bit more at dinner, but still having 1400-1500 calories at dinner is a fuckload.

On weekends I'll have breakfast a lot and then skip lunch, shit like that. 3 meals a day with snacks makes it so hard to stay thin. Intermittent fasting is skinny life on easy mode.

If you can afford apples you can afford potatoes, rice, oats, beans, onions, carrots, lentils, pasta, flour, or anything else that's packed with nutrients that's 10 times cheaper per pound. I'll even go as far as to say you can afford frozen veggies, whole chicken, frozen bread, other meat on deep discounts (personally I can sometimes find a real bargain on near-expired products), giblets, pate (even if it's cheap just microwave it for a few min), pickled things, canned things. Really if you're malnutritioned because you spend money on apples and green tea instead of actual food, you deserve every bit of it.

One bag of apples costs less than all of those combined. It's one apple per day and the rest is soy food which costs almost nothing along with cheap green tea. Buying all that other shit costs way more and it still has to be cooked which isn't free. Stop pretending like you know what it's like to be poor.

I do know what it's like to be poor. Some days I potato or rice with onion because that's what I have, or oatmeal out of the bag. I can get good potatoes for 47 cents a pound, or rice for 54 cents a pound and I live in Denmark, one of the most expensive countries in the world. Why are you buying apples? It provides nothing of value to your body. Your electricity bill won't skyrocket because you take a few minutes to cook some rice, and you probably aren't worried about that either because if you were you wouldn't sit on your flat at your computer all day. Get a grip and drop the shitty habits. If you start getting symptoms of anemia or skin rashes, you know what to blame.
