Why do texans feel so strongly about a Mexican dish?

they have no culture of their own

Guilt over stealing tex-ass from the mexicans.

And macaroni.

...

Isn't the whole south pretty much Mexico?

Bit the bait

>Mexican dish
Texans took all the trash food beaners ate and made it 1000% better.
Texmex > Mexican

How long does chili keep in the fridge? Brought some from work (dishwasher who takes home leftovers) a week ago and now seeing this thread I have a mighty hankering

Great, making huge ass batches of chili and living on it for awhile is GOAT

I remember this commercial for chili years ago. Don't remember if it was for some canned chili or a restaurant that had chili on the menu.

In the commercial there was a street vendor selling all kinds of improper chili. I only recall him yelling out "Chili chili chunga, chili on a stick. Tofu chili tofu chili.

Those few lines have have been stuck in my head for the last 2 decades or so.

pity reply

This is a good idea. It's a very tasty poor fag way to have good meals. I do the same up with curry.

Then you just gotta make up some rice, zap a portion of your curry/chili in the microwave and bang. Awesome meal.

You can stick it in the freezer but I usually make it up for the week and it rarely lasts long.

I lol'd.

beans are fucking garbage

only shitty people like them

like brits and mexicans

traditionally, chilli con carne was just a stew of beef, chillis, water, and whatever else they had available.

The chillis were added mostly to disguise the taste of rancid meat.

>CON carne
>lists optional ingredient first

Is chili meat soup?

Without beans, yes

subhuman detected.

>chilli con carne was just a stew of beef, ...

Are you retarded on purpose?

neither the chillis nor the meat are optional. I have no idea what you thought I said.
