you could help me out at runescape, I just started and im broke af

unemployment office. they will get you jobs and improve your resume

>cant even get a job at mcdicks
have you even tried?

Go into trade school, learn a skill, fix your life. There's no shame in a blue collar job OP.

Just be yourself.

Kys worthless fattie

I'm turning 28 this year and only now in my final year of my software eng degree but with no work experience am I fucked?

hmmm you sound pretty hopeless. Join the Army and spend a few years getting your shit together.

>Watdo
Buy and HODL. Day-trading is more like gambling.

BTC is designed to be scarce, its value will definitely be mooning. The current market movements are caused by manipulations. Large companies have secretly invested significant funds into the project, so have no concern of it failing.

good choices

the fuck have you been doing

Did a science degree finished it but couldnt find jobs so went back to uni

suicide

Back to rs

Join the army.

You will make money while being forced to get your shit together. Probably best to avoid being deployed though because that will just fuck your shit up even further.

Literally me. Except I'm turning 30 lol.
I was traveling though. Fuck school.
Have you ever wanted to kys since you got two degrees?
I feel like I made out okay since I travelled when I was younger then got on financial aid because paying for school is for fags.

If you're at the end of the rope, learn a trade. Welding is a good start. Less than a year of work, at a cheap community college can get you making $55,000 a year without back breaking manual labor.

I just don't know anymore. Thought about just ending it but I'm too cowardly even for that. I have no idea how to program properly even though I'm in my final year (wtf) like I have no idea how I even got here and just panicking.

What trade is the best in terms of effort and demand?

Get internships or whatever quickly

Literally me again lmao
Just this evening I finished my shitty efforts for the day of making a program. I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing and holy fuck what is going to happen when I work somewhere.
Know what I'm going to do tomorrow? I'm going to put more effort into planning my piece of shit program and make some uml diagrams.
I suck now but I can be hopefully less retarded after daily effort for the next two months. It's hilarious how little I got out of school, but I did go to a shitty school.

I'm just a wageslave working paycheck to paycheck. Want to start a business and be my own boss but totally uneducated and zero clue about market trends.

If only there were a business board on Veeky Forums I could learn myself up a little and chat to people in the know but nope, this board is exclusively crypto NEET fuckwits great thanks

HVAC and electrical are gonna be your best bets for demand, but both can take some effort to understand all the different applications and faucets. If you become proficient and have some years of experience and years of schooling you stand prepared to start up your own business if you're good at marketing yourself.

Don't panic and don't kys.
Just laugh about it something. You goofed along the way to get where you are and another goof was thinking school will teach you how to software. You need to make things. Start now. Think of something cool like making your own blockfolio or some shit.

Just pick something you find enough interest in to make something for it and make it. It will give you practice and you'll have something to show employers when you graduate.

I did jack shit for five fucking years of school and will start making money in software this summer. Fucking watch me.

it's like common sense you retard

If it's common sense why are we all here instead of making 6 figures

Crypto was my last hope which crashed and burned. I just want to forget about it all. Ironically my final year project is building a dApp on the eth blockchain. Life is just taking a dump on me and then not satisfied has to rub it in on me.

this. follow your heart and the money will follow

the only difficult part about making a successful business is having the capital to do it

It works but not all the time. When being yourself means being a NEET you probably need to force yourself out of your comfort zone.

look up daily shop runs for runescape, you can earn a bond in less than a week

You can get easy funding from DASH if what you are doing will help DASH.

They have a 4 million budget every single month for entrepreneurs!

I'm 30 and started my first job ever this year.
Shit's hard but you can do it too. Power through, user. You can do it.

well im gonna try start a faggy clothing brand like the Supremes and Stussys of the world (like a billion other people) so wish me luck anons

Get a job where they hire you on the spot. Like an Amazon warehouse or something

>30 and no experience
>long term gf who needs wedding soon
>100k in crypto from eth ponzu
>mediocre programmer
What do

What’s the job?

how the fuck do you make it to 30 with no experience dude

My mother had to undergo a C-section. The welding torch in my little hand made delivery very risky.

>There's no shame in a blue collar job
Yes there is faggot. This is literally the most technologically advanced age in the history of mankind and all you are capable of is doing some ruddy job with your hands that your high school dropout grandpa was able to do 60 years ago?

Congratulations OP, you just graduated from MIT.

Learn how to code and get an entry level IT job at an office.

How doable is this? I got some shitty job agency job right now at some fuckhole. I got 3 years of business school that I still have to finish, but I can just say I already graduated. My dad's gonna get me a fake reference from one of his friends. What languages should I learn?

Try to come up with enough bullshit to put down at least some work experience. If you have any family with a business, see if you can pretend you worked for them, etc. or have a friend be a fake reference for you, or at least say you did freelance web design/affiliate marketing or something.

Try to avoid putting down a blatantly false work experience from a known large company, if possible.
Only if you really can't do any of the above. If they ask for references just say okay you'll bring them in/e-mail them later but then later get back to them saying you went with a different job offer (so just keep trying until you get a place that takes your word for it and doesn't ask for the references to check your bullshit).

Also be smart with this, don't apply for jobs that require security clearance, background check, etc.

If you are applying for a tech job, make a Github account and search for other people's projects (obscure ones, not on the first few pages of whatever you search for, with no stars that no one will ever find). Download the repo, remove any references to any other authors name or anything like that, and commit it as a new little project on your own Github. Obviously only do this if you DO know a bit about code, otherwise what's the point, you'll just get fired when you can't do shit. This is just to save time if you need a job now and don't have a months to actually make some projects for your own Github.

Also longer term, try to at least get some certs, a 1 or two year tech diploma, or even a coding bootcamp certificate, etc. just so you have SOMETHING post-secondary to put on your resume even if it's not a 4 year degree. You'll lose to people with a degree but you'll have a leg up on people with only high school and a Github/freelance experience.

it's a doggy dog world OP, do what you gotta do.

>lost all of it
How dumb can you be?

Attached: c43.jpg (450x450, 29K)

Are you some faggot american? cause he in Australia tradies are fucking loaded.

GL with you shit computer science degrees earning 50k a year. fuck off poor cunt.

Time to learn how to lie like a nigger in the welfare office on your resume.

are these highschool courses taught in a college? how does it work

> being this delusional

, I am a carpenter, but i work with and around electricians all the time and I think being an electrician is the best construction trade especially when you work on commercial projects

electricians wok is just a lot easier than mine
(effort wise) and they get a lot more more plus the nature of their work is such that they can do a big 4 week job then have time off because they earned good money. I know load of sparkys who do this

benefits of being a carpenter?

>ok money, im in my 20's making £40k a year
>you stay in shape
>I get a beautiful tan most of the year
>women love men in masculine jobs
>I get to walk around shirtless in the summer and let the girls mire at my angular body

unironically this lol

>tfw have CS degree but broke and cant get a job

get on my level

work harder, think of everything you can control in your life as being you fault if they fail

not many CS jobs in your city? move

your skill set is highly regarded upon

I cant afford an airplane ticket.

>Also be smart with this, don't apply for jobs that require security clearance, background check, etc.
Isn't this the same as just checking for your references? Or are you actually talking about a serious government job or some shit that requires extra background clearance and checks?

I am thinking about creating a fake website as if it was a business I worked for (fake business too, of course) so I can show it to my interviewer so they email them and then I will respond instead.
I also have the advantage of coming from a different country, so maybe I could get someone to talk on the phone for me? It's still sketchy though to just give a mobile number, honestly...

I will probably say I have an IT degree such as Computer Science or IT Systems Engineer.
But idk if I should put that I've done a technical 2 year thing instead...

I plan on faking it out to get a system admin job in a small business. What do you think of my plan? Got any other advice? I am currently working at a hotel, having arrived to the country (UK) around 3 months ago.
Maybe I shouldn't mention I've been working at this hotel since it's not related to the job I want and they might ask theirselves why the fuck I worked for a hotel instead of being an IT worker from the get go?

Also, I might get a cisco cert in the future, dunno if it will be enough though..
All in all, I am succesfully scaping neetdom and stepping out of my comfort zone.

Dude I'm about to graduate with a BioSci degree and I have little experience since HS. I'm not gonna let myself become a poorfag tho, I'm willing to do whateverthefuck.

How can you not get a job with such a degree?

Do businesses you apply for not even contact you back?

get a pleb job until you can, stop making excuses

discipline is all we have, carve yourself a good life in this wretched world through good old hard work. it will make your life and everyones life around you better if you succeed

To be honest, this.

I wish I had a fucking CS degree right now.
Just work ANYTHING to get enough money to start somewhere else. That's easy.

>it's a doggy dog world

I think you meant 'dog eat dog world'

pal

This statement right here is why you are a failure and will die a failure. Go be a wagecuck

What I meant is, your gonna want to hopefully find a hiring manager that doesn't even check references, so obviously applying for jobs that you know require more serious checks is not a good idea. The worst that can happen from bullshitting a hiring manager is that you don't get the job, but you might get yourself into more trouble if you're lying to the government that conducts background checks. For example if you're programming for a company that handles medical industry software they'll probably make you get secret clearance (or whatever equivalent in your country), or if you apply to work as an IT for a police department, etc. Those are the types of things to avoid if you're looking to get hired in a first job with fake work history. Ideally try to find small-mid sized companies looking for a coding/IT guy. Big companies and gov agencies will likely have more standardized HR procedures to verify work history, etc.

As for the fake website thing it could probably work. Not sure I would fake a degree, depending on the laws where you live it can be trouble. You could probably do it but just be ready to bail if they ask for proof. Like I said, if they ask for references or proof of degree you could always just tell them you got another offer and you're no longer interested, and then try again somewhere else and do that until you get one that doesn't ask for the proof.

Well, the degree would be a big advantage to get a job and an excuse to have only '1 year exp' being 25 years old. Of course, I wouldn't hand in a fake degree picture, cause that's way harder to scheme and pull off, but since I'm from another country to begin with, I highly doubt they'll ask for it and will instead try to prove my (fake) work exp. Hence why I'd like to make a website first.

I've been told of someone from my country of origin who did this (without any webpage, just by handing his friend's number from my country of origin) and it worked. They called his friend and that was it. But yeah, I'd rather make a website to be more on the safe side...

Any other tips? I really wanna get a better job, and I can't without lying. Of course, I'm not trying to get a coding job, just an IT specialist or system administrator for a small business. I can do that and I am also going to learn more about it online. I am working for the minimum wage right now, have to pay for the rent of course and it leaves me quite little money to save up, which totally sucks.
Working 40h a week not to save up enough money in a job that you don't care about is just plainly wasting my life.

the absolute STATE of nu Veeky Forums

Capital is incredibly important if it's not a virtual based business. Unless you're getting at capital not being the *only* important thing. There is a lot more going into it, but capital is the unironic oil for any business.

Not that guy but how does you acquire jobs involving your trade with zero experiences? Just asking for related jobs in whatever? Also, do you go to practical school or courses in additions of actually working in your trade?

I will finish my Electronics Engineering bachelor degree soon but I know jack shit about electronics, I plan to find works as a HVAC technician or electrician first than slowly building my skill to the point that I'm good enough to be self employed and preferably open my own business/workshops and have HVAC/electrician goods retail shops. Most trade guys I know said that I should just ask for jobs involving said trades but most of them learned on the jobs and said I don't really need to take any kind of schools if I want to work with my hands. I'm confused as fuck for the school/courses part because well so many of trade guys I know don't even graduate high school

im 23 finished mechatronics engineering in a few months. never had a job. just played video games and went through phases where i would go to the gym then quit and weeks where i would think about killing myself
I know I wont be able to get a job and Im basically fucked. Crypto was my last shot and now Im officially fucked. Wish I cashed out when i was at 50k I only have 10k left too.

>28 soon
>programmer
>good job, able to stomach it
>just want to make games
>luckily my job skills carry over to game-dev
>renting an apartment
>can save about 1000 euro per month
to buy a 300.000 euro house, which is the cheapest nice option where I live I will have to save for 25 years
by then the house price will probably be 600.000

is this the trick? get a 300K mortgage then sell your house the second you pay it off? what do I do with the money then? what do I DO

>

If anyone know how please help, I will probably look into one of these trades first (industrial electronics/HVAC/electricians) and slowly build my skills up, the prospects of comfy wagecucks/managers jobs that do fucking useless stuffs in the cubicles seems bleak and declining honestly. If I can't become good enough to be self employed / open my own workshops or business, from what I've seen at least these hands on skills are more valuable to an employer/company. Don't care about doing blue collar jobs even though college degrees are 'supposed' to be higher status people in society, just don't want to starve and have the actual prospects/skills to work on my terms as a self employed/becoming my own business owner

learn TA and start making smart trades.

OP I'm also 23, but at least worked for last 5 years various jobs as student.. Now deciding between joining the army for scout sniper or going to college for comp sci (free, since from Europe).

I havr no idea what to do, since if I'm in army I can still learn web dev on the side or software engineering like I do now and wagecuck 50 hours per week. But at least in the army I can build my carrer, get promoted, learn and experience new stuff.

Never shoot a gun, marched or had brotherhood. But I think I'd fit in.

Meanwhile try to invest and trade on forex market and save up.

Don't care about women currently, was in relationships for last 4 years and got kind of tired of that. Need few years to fuck off on my own and grow as a person.
