Well, as a kid who loved spongebob (even though I was a little old for it, I think), I always imagined it as a simple hand pressed third pound burger (a little salt and pepper, with some worcestershire or something similar), tomato, lettuce, cheese, mustard and ketchup. It always looked like something really simple to me, which was something that appealed to me.
