I gave it the resting honour of my belly. Except for the few pieces that had aluminium stuck on the bottom.

It wasn't that bad actually, tasted like mozarella and tomato on toasted bread. The nearby pizza joint is way better, unsurprisingly.

How could this have happened? I'd like to hear what you did. I might be able to help. I make pizza from scratch all of the time and even built the wood burning oven in the pic to cook them when I'm in the mood. Other than that, the regular oven. Far better than any restaurant.

I used www.pizzamaking.com/dough-calculator.html for proportions and accidently made one dough ball with the quantities for two. I thought the thickness was right but it was in fact way too thick. It was not spread well, and I put a bit too much tomato sauce.

Also obviously the aluminium was retarded, but I didn't have cooking paper. I use a gas oven.
