First ever time poaching an egg. How did I do?

...

it's probably raw

And open

That's some sad bread

>yolk is runny
>white is cooked
Pretty good

Yeah I left Panera (where employees can take home leftover bread at the end of the business day) and am too lazy to bake my own.

its fine. life skill acquired

toast the bread next time

I like my yolk slightly more set than that but good job OP.

Sweet. Now I know how to poach eggs.

>First ever time poaching an egg
Why lie?

There is no way that egg is your first-time!

Please don't tell porkies!

It is! I just prettied it up by removing the spindly edges.

If you are telling he truth, then I take my hat off to you.

So what was your method? Vinegar? Swirling water? Lowering egg by ladle? Fresh from the bird?

Ya did well son. Ya did well.

Probably fresh egg and enough water

Used a really little container (it's like the size of a sauce ramekin) for the egg before putting it in the water. I heard vinegar helps so I used maybe a capful

literally perfect. great job op

congratulations on a job well done. i ain't never did it that good.

FIBBER

All this swirling, vinegar, 'dropping it in' talk is bull shit.

I get the water bubbly, crack that hoe straight into the water, let it do the damn thing. Pull it out at the right time and it's perfect

you're gonna make a lot of people very upset, user

I still can't crack an egg with one hand.
